This was the right vacuum vent and metal cap for the Everbilt outdoor freeze proof spigot that I bought and put in around 2023 . When You take it out of box it looks bigger then the one that was on there but it fit perfectly. I would not use any teflon tape as it gos on tight as soon as You start turning it . But it will go on and does not leak .

I like that the top piece is metal because the reason I had to replace the part is because the previous one was completely made of plastic and the direct sunlight decayed the plastic so badly it fell apart into pieces. I just wish the rest of it was made of metal so that it would last longer. It didn't come with instructions so make sure to assemble it like in the product photo. To try to deter leaking I used plumbers tape to wrap around the threading.

Epic fail - The product contained the plastic threaded part, and the metal cap but was missing the stopper. I tried it on to see if the threads fit, but when I tried to remove it so I could return it, the metal cap unscrewed from the white plastic threaded part. I had to get a wrench to remove the white threaded part from the faucet, which damaged the threads. If you had to replace the rubber O ring, you might not be able to do so without damaging the breaker threads

Exactly what I needed to fix the leak coming from the vacuum breaker on my outside water spigot. This one has what appears to be a sturdy aluminum top cap with nylon internal components and washers. I’ll see how it holds up in the harsh NJ winters, but for now I am satisfied as it has stopped the leaking. Size was exactly as described and fit my application perfectly. Your mileage may vary depending on your spigot. You can find various visual demonstrations online.

The vacuum breaker that comes with the Ice Breaker sill cock is a great idea to break if it freezes up to save the sill cock. Unfortunately this design also has a tendency to also pop and break during normal summer conditions. After replacing a number of times I looked for an alternative. This breaker has .85 inch threads which are not found in most big box or hardware stores unless you buy the Ice Breaker product which again has a poor design. After much searching found this product on Amazon with dimensions matching the existing .85 inch Ice Breaker. The downside is this no longer has the additional frost protection but the upside is it should never break during normal use. If winterized correctly this should not be an issue. I would have given this a 5 star review if the o ring on the threads had been installed correctly. Initially it leaked when installed but on review the o ring had been installed on the wrong notch. After moving the o ring to the correct notch it worked perfectly. So if you purchase this, check the location of the o ring on the one you remove and be sure it is in the right spot on the replacement. With this in mind it works great.

I bought one which just couldn't seal right and kept dripping. I got a second and it worked. Quality seems a bit iffy but it worked in my spigot. I tried to find the right one for my spigot at the local big box stores and they all were a bit too small. This was just a bit larger and the right size for mine.
