Not for California Cars
This plate frame cannot be used in California as it covers up the bottom of the license plate letters/numbers: for example, you cannot tell an "E" from and "F". It also covers up much of the state name. Also, the tip of the castle emblem protruding from the top of the frame makes it difficult to even fit in the license plate space on many cars. Overall, not usable, especially not here in California.

Not legal in California
I have had this on my car for a couple of years. It looks very nice, but I've had two officers mention to me as an aside that it is not legal in CA as it obstructs the plate's letters, and I did receive an actual fix-it ticket for it ($140 I believe, if not fixed).Sad because I actually purchased this at Disneyland, in CA. :(
