I bought an identical machine (Els Pet) from another seller 4 months ago and it is not worth it! Save up for the actual Litter Robot!If the step gets knocked out of place (which happens easily) it makes an unholy noise and will not function until the step is back in place.Litter gets literally everywhere, it's a mess! From the difficulty getting the litter into the small front opening, to it falling into every nook and cranny inside and out, it's gross!If you let the collection tray get even a little over full, the mess falls into the hinges of the door hiding the collection tray, which prevents it from closing, releasing the odor everywhere. There's also a flap between the litter box and the collection tray which is supposed to trap the odor, but I have yet to empty the collection tray without it falling off. You have to hold it in place in the back while reaching in the front to make sure the two clasps get onto the tiny pegs, which invariably results in moving the litter box which knocks the step out of place, which unleashes the unholy noise. I took the flap off and just deal with the odor.In short? Thanks, I hate it.

Oh, the joy the first time I opened the back and was able to just twist the bag full of mess, replace it, and be done. It was like my birthday and Christmas rolled into one. There was less litter scattered around the house, the cat had no trouble getting used to it, and I bragged to other cat owners because, dang, this was so cool! I was in cat-owner heaven. All the joys, none of the drudge. But then, dear reader, it soiled itself.First it would beep at me about 20 minutes after the cat used the box. The rake did not move. I completely replaced the litter to see if that would help, but no joy. Now it doesn't even beep. It just doesn't work. Do you know how hard it is to manually clean this thing? You have to practically stick your whole head in the box to get into the far reaches of it. It's waaaayyyy worse than cleaning a traditional box. Trust me. Ain't nobody want that.There's a weird gap between the round bowl and the stand that collects pee and litter that is absolutely disgusting (see picture). They have these red rubber stoppers that are supposed to help, but they do not. They just collect grossness. I did follow the short videos the seller has in the description, which did not help.When I looked online for video tutorials on how to reset, there were none. If I had it to do over, I would search for videos for any brand to ensure that I had competent help should I need it. What I found was that there are plenty of tutorials for the robot box, but none for this brand. I emailed the company per their instructions, but they did not respond.This was too dang expensive for this to happen so soon after purchasing. I mean, I would want it to last years, but a month or two is just like paying someone $40-50 dollars a week to come in and clean that cat litter. The return on the investment was low-low-low.Pros: Looks cool.

Excellent product for multiple cats!

If I could give negative stars I would. This product, also sold under the ElsPet name is complete garbage. DO NOT WASTE your money. I purchased the ElsPet Spaceship 2 in October 2024. By early November it was already not performing properly. By January it was not working at all. The company will give you the runaround about the 90-day refund warranty and will completely ignore the 1-year warranty. They will ask you to ship the item back at a cost of $150, plus charge you a fee for the unit having had litter in it. Additionally, they will try to get you to take the unit apart, by sending you new sensors or a new motherboard - and then claim you voided your warranty by tampering with the device. The unit does not control odors at all. The "UV" light doesn't seem to do anything either and if you go to Els Pet website, you will only see 5 star reviews because they do not allow anything other than 5 star reviews to post - even a 5 star review with negative words in the review will be blocked.

I bought this litter box last November and it was great so far but then it started have some issues where it would not scoop and the rack would not move or anything I did get in touch with the customer service and they were really helpful first they walked through some solutions but I couldn’t make it work so the offer to replace it and I just got my new machine today so if you have any issues with your machine please doesn’t doubt to contact them.

DO NOT BUY IT... Waste of your money i can guarantee you!!! The door closes and gets stuck with the cleaner inside, really hard to change out all the litter. such a nightmare , my husband has to fiddle with it to work a full day.

The potential of this product is amazing… the idea of not having to scoop myself. And it was nice for the first month when it worked. This thing requires SO MUCH MAINTENANCE. So much so, I’m going back to my old litter boxes because it’s less work. It randomly stops working, has lots of sensor issues, the app is useless, the rake doesn’t even reach the bottom so it still has dirty litter in it, the cat pee drips between cracks and you have to clean the step tray of the litter and piss that leaks through. It’s just horrible even for its cheap price. We got it on SALE for $170 so don’t be paying the full $300 if you are crazy enough to buy this product. Overall, hate it and it’s too late to return it so there goes my $170.

Always alarming, always getting stuck, the claw scoop already busted off on the end and I had to put the replacement on. Loud and very very big, like a spaceship big 3x3x3ft area needed. Multi cat home so I bought this one to mange it. We still have to clean it out and fix it 2-3 times a week. Of worth the hassle and size. Have only had it for a little while and we have tried different litters and crystals to see if it would help. Nothing has helped. We have even turned it off and let them use it like a regular litter box.
