A prudent buy!
After getting disgusted with cheap litters which pretty much do a shoddy job, I am now in the lookout for the perfect litter that balances performance with price. I notice that the cheap ones get used up faster than the expensive ones and also leave a lot of powdery residue (which incidentally affects our pets health and ours too as we inhale this dust while cleaning the litter box). So, in the long run its better not to be penny wise pound foolish and go for the higher end ones. This one, Cat Exclusive is the second top-of-the-line litter I am using after Intersand Odourlock. Of course it cannot compare in performance to Oudourlock but overall it seems a prudent buy as is way cheaper and almost as good in quality. Odourlock has finer grains, better odour control, excellent clumping properties, practically dust free and of course ridiculously expensive! In comparison to OL, CE has larger grains and the other afore mentioned parameters are clearly not as good; as the litter level goes down in the tray CE gets sticky and stuck to the bottom (as seen in pic, clumps are not rock hard and break away); but, the stars it loses in quality it makes up in pricing which is almost a little over half the price of OL. Please note that OL comes in 12 kg bag @ Rs 1500-1650 approx and CE in 10 kgs @ Rs 850 -950. As far as disposal goes both have to be dumped in the trash can and cannot be flushed down the pot. And as for the litter getting stuck in the paws and spreading around the place; it happens for both. And, for kitty preference, she seems to like both these litters, doesnโt make any difference to her. This litter lasts for a little more than one and a half months for my 10 month old cat and I did not get any 'baby powder smell' as claimed in the bag. My Call: If you can afford it go for Odourlock, its the best . Otherwise, Cat Exclusive gets the job done effectively as well . Next, I will be trying out Okoplus, its USP is that itโs all natural and environment friendly, which is definitely a positive thing for me. Curious to see how it compares. Thanks for reading. Pics: 1) Kitty loves to did, dig, dig fresh litter! 2) Breakaway clumps formed at the bottom and sides of litter box 3) Relatively dust free and larger grain size compared to OL 4) Fairly hard clumps formed in the middle of box where a good quantity of litter is present.

Price Justified! (Reason below)
Believe me, i've tried many many litters from almost all the top sellers. There was a brand which was the best under budget but they also started to degrade the quality of their litter. Coming to this one, which is slightly costly, has given the most consistent results. Its binding strength is to the point and easily scoopable. It almost fills my cat's litter box which lasts for about 1.5month (single cat and scooping every morning) It's also a plain smelling litter which is good and a bit less dusty. If you have a single adult cat, you should go for it otherwise it might be pricy for 2-3 adult cats as you would need atleast 2 every 1-1.5month. But to maintain hygiene for your cat, i think its worth spending in this as this won't disappoint you. NOTE: YOU SHOULD SCOOP YOUR CATS LITTER DAILY AND OFTEN KEEP THE LITTER IN SUNSHINE TO IMPROVE HYGIENE. PurrrrPurrrr...cat people!

Best cat litter out there.
I am so annoyed as to why I didn't find this litter before. It is the best litter available in the market. I've got one cat, she's a year old and so far I've been using conventional cat litters which weren't so good. But this litter is worth the money spent on. It has great odour control, no dust at all. The clumps formed are hard and nice. They don't crumple at all (unlike other litters) while scooping them up. The best thing about this litter is that you don't have to throw away the entire litter, you can just fill in the litter box with new litter along with the old one unlike the conventional cat litters where you've to replace the entire litter with the fresh one. It is very economical and for this reason runs for a very long time. I have no complaints with this litter so far. There's a little con here which I am okay with though - I've noticed that dust does build up after some days of using the litter (which is not at all bothersome) and for that reason I filter the litter once a month. I do this for my satisfaction, since I don't want that cloud of dust forming while I clean the litter box. It's just a faint litter dust. I am always gonna purchase this litter. My search ends here.

Better Than Petrux
I was using Petrux before which was cheaper, had a good scent and odor controlling, good for cat poop but wastage was high for pee. Petrux doesn't has good absorbancy , it doesn't clump quiet well either.....more like mud at wetness get spread causing high wastage of litter if adult cat pee, also make the scooper messy and need lot of rub with water to clean But cat exclusive, it has high absorbancy and instant clumping. The wetness doesn't get spread, dries up pretty fast....so wastage is less, easy to scoop and clean without making the scooper messy About the odor control, it's not as good as Petrux but fair Go for it , you won't regret it... I would rate Petrux 6/10 for high wastage And cat exclusive 8/10 for high price

The best litter.
This is the best litter for your cat truly. I have researched a lotttt tbh and tried a few but this litter is the best because it does all the job we need a litter to do. 1. Clumps really well .. just give 30 min time at least for a solid clump to form and your litter tray will be mess free. 2. Absorbs amazingly . 3. Odour is not bad and not too strong for you and your cat too. 4. A tad bit of particles can be outside the tray . In my opinion I found the PERFECT litter for my cat.

Almost the best litter.
Editing the review after ordering this a 2 times: Reducing the rating from 5 stars. Quality is random. There is a lot of dust, so much that I can literally see it fly/blow up while cleaning the litter. I can see it a form a separate layer below the heavier particles. Since you have to bend over the litter to clean, and the dust blows up, it gives me a runny nose all day(which is a immune response to protect from fine dust particles). Imagine what the cat has to go through with even more sensitive & smaller respiratory passage. This is not acceptable. Not while paying a premium, and specially when the product is advertised as "dust free". ----------------------------------- Original Review: Clumpability is very good. It is great to see how much less litter you actually use while scooping. Also, the "breakage" of poo into smaller particles is very low, which is not the case with most other brands, where the lack of proper stickiness creates a mess of small particles which are hard to get rid of. That does not happen with Intersand. While with other brands I used to run out of 5kg in a week, here the usage is probably half of that amount. As someone else has said, while using litters "more is less". Ensure you fill upto a Depth of 5-7cm, otherwise the liquids will stick to the tray, which you have to scrape off, which will cause small particles to break off, plus additional litter will now stick to the wet scrapped off area. Both these points cause more litter to be used than if you had used adequate amount in the first place.

The best litter sand for cats...
This is one of the best cat litter I have ever used. We have been using this brand for more than a year now and we are fully satisfied with the product quality. Pros : Odour control is efficient and the baby powder smell actually works with a pleasant smell easy on your nose. The sand clumps as soon as my cat uses it Clumps are easy to clean with a litter scooper Doesn't stick to my cat's fur Very less wastage of sand - for my cat it lasts for at least 2 months Cons : Rate is a bit high, but worth it. The packaging could be better if it has a resealable zip Damage of the pack during shipping happened twice for me but Amazon (as always) solved my problem

Good litter but not for diggers
This litter is great, my kitty instantly took to it but the grains are small and light around so they will fly if your cat is a digger. Just keep this in mind. A few points: There's no dust in the fresh litter but I noticed a little dust (probably from pee clumps) when I was cleaning it out. Don't scoop pee clumps immediately, give it at least 30 minutes to clump up properly and dry otherwise it can break apart while scooping. Try not to dig too much when looking for clumps, if you find one try to lift it up like you would a burger off a pan. If a clump breaks it will leave a mess, even my micro scooper cant get those tiny clumps out.
