I already own a pair of barefoot shoes so got these for my husband. I ordered his usual size 8 but they were a good size up However, no worries because the elastic around the rim does hold your feet in Hubby found them very comfortable but they do take a bit of getting used to as they do what it says on the tin, you feel like you have nothing on your feet, especially on the uppers The insole is loose, I guess this is if you do wear them in water, the insole can be removed to dry separately.The sole is very flexible and not too thin, seems to be a good grip on it You could wear them out but they're not very substantial, hubby will wear the shoes around the house Good for wading into a stony seashore, on the beach, canoeing, sailing - quite versatile. Any water will only escape through the meshy upper, not through the sole, so you could be a bit soggy until you remove the shoes to dry.Recommend sizing down at least half a size.

The shoes are light weight and good looking. The flurocent like color is catchy. My mother used this for full day and felt pretty comfortable. The fitting is perfect and the soles are soft providing good grip on the surface.She uses it for long walks like 2 to 3 km. The laces are nontraditional so can be difficult to adjust for some. These are easy to put on and take off. The fabric is soft and easy to clean. I can easily wash these shoes and are quick to dry.Overall, good pair of shoes for reasonable price.

I ordered this pair of shoes for my girlfriend to try. The size I've gone for was UK size 5 as this is what she normally wears and they fit her really well. Thanks to the wide toe box she felt like her toes weren't restricted. She liked how even though these are new shoes she felt like she's had them for ages due to the comfort. As they're supposed to give you that barefoot feeling the sole is quite thin which my girlfriend wasn't too sure about. The majority of the material is made out of breathable mesh just to increase your comfort. Her main issue was the quick tightening as one of the strings snapped after the first use which doesn't scream quality to me and she didn't like how the string is just dangling there.EDIT: we found that the strings can be reattached after undoing the plastic clip at the top! Whilst it was still a little concerning that it came off after the first time tightening the string, at least its good to know it can be fixed and adjusted to fit everyone's needs.

These shoes are so comfortable and true to size and fit. I got this pair for my husband and he says they are a good wide fit with a decent sole. They are for occasional use like walking on the beach or in the sea. They are very light in weight, we got the navy blue ones and they look good too.

Barefoot ShoesI was initially concerned about these shoes as rather than coming in a box they turned up squashed together in a vacuum pack type of wrap. For the price I would have expected a box. The shoes however, once I had pulled them into shape were really quite good. The soles are fairly thin as you would expect from a barefoot style of shoe but they did have some padding on the sole and the shoes were nice and wide allowing plenty of room to wiggle your toes. Overall I found these shoes to be very comfortable and they would be perfect for wearing on the beach or for slopping around the house in so if that’s what your after then these will definitely do the job.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from these from the description, walking shoes? Beach shoes?I would class them as beach shoes, the kind of shoe that you would wear to the beach to give your feet a bit of protection from sharp stones or shells, that you can wade into the sea in, and again give your feet some protection from what’s underfoot, that you can easily swim in or participate in other water sports, and that will then dry quite quickly afterwards.They have a thin sole as you’d expect, which is one reason I wouldn’t regard these as ‘walking’ shoes, and a breathable mesh upper to aid water evaporation. They also have quite a smart ‘normal shoe’ appearance, whereas my experience of beach shoes that I’ve bought in the past was the type that look more like basic plimsolls.They have a nice amount of toe space which I really like and the sizing was spot-on.On the basis that I really like them and won’t get to wear them very often if I save them only for beach trips, I’m tempted to wear them around the house and garden in the summer too!
