8"x8" Square Floating Shelves for Wall, Oak Finish, 3-Pack

My husband was able to easily install these shelves on the wall. They look great on my wall and are sturdy. The shelves hold some of my plants.

I bought 4 of these to display my growing collection of bobbles and figurines. Mounted into 1/2” drywall - in my space there wasn’t any studs that align with the mount holes in the shelf frame. Install kit is nice: good quality screws and a mini bubble level too, along with clearly written English instructions. The caveat is the drywall anchors- they are self tapping drywall screw anchors. However the plastic is very brittle. This means there is no point when you are screwing in the stud that you feel a stop. You can overtighten and then the stud will snap and you can’t just put the screw in the broken stud. If you install the stud without it breaking, when you put the screw in you will hear it snap. Again you will not feel a detent where it stops securely. If you don’t use these anchors and use better quality ones the shelves mount securely. I give these 4/5 because if you are like me you likely have a ton of drywall anchors so you can use ones you are comfortable with.

First thing I noticed when I opened the package, which was packed well, was the shelves are really light and made out of some cheap material. I was really hesitant about even putting them up, but decided to try one any way, as I bought 3 packs of these..a 55 inches a 2 pack of 47 1/4 inches and a 2 pack of 35 3/8 inches. The metal brackets are really light weight and not heavy duty as advertised, and none of the holes will line up to the studs in the wall (16 inch on center) with such light duty items you at least need to be able to screw the brackets securely to the studs. Wall anchors, especially the cheap plastic ones they provide was not good enough for me as shown on another review of these products. I used another heavy duty brand of wall anchors and screws where I couldn't get the bracket secured to a stud. I also drilled the bracket to line up with a stud. Now the bracket is solidly attached to the wall. Even with the extra effort, these shelves are not very stable. They look good and will suffice for our needs but be careful and don't put too much weight on them or I'm sure they will sag. There is just too much play in the machining process to be solid. You can't expect much from these as you get what you pay for. They are thin and cheap but will work if you don't put too much on them.

Super sturdy and easy to assemble!

Better than what Ikea currently has for durability. Ikea changed their small floating shelves to have a far less secure wall attachment causing them to hold far less weight making them really only good for small items. I lucked out finding these on Amazon as I care about my memorabilia and do not want what's placed on the shelves to fall. I ordered these as they have the full bar that runs inside the shelf so the issue of strength to wall comes from the mounting. The Anchors provided are completely functional and good for most things; however using butterfly wall anchors (sold separately) made these impossible to droop and snap off under weight. Very happy with results and overall quality

Beautiful shelf and very easy to install.

Love these shelves. arrived on time and in great condition. Packaged well to protect all surfaces. Installed in minutes, sits flush to the wall and love that a mini level was included in the packaging. Looks fantastic and holds quite a bit of weight with no visible sag or tiliting of shelf. Need a couple more for a display area in our living room so will definately be ordering more.

Great shelves used in kiddos bedroom for baby camera and night light. Seem strong and just the right size for our needs!
