One of my 10-year-old hibiscus trees died due to a bug infestation years ago. It was hanging in there, but the limbs became deformed and the leaves tiny. It was time to say goodbye. My boyfriend soon to be ex, denied me the use of our chain saw since he feels only he can use it and only he can decide when to remove the ailing tree. Until, this morning! That's right!! I grabbed my shovel and this nice new tool, dug up the trunk and cut all the big and small roots in a few ez clicks, how about that! This wonderful new lightweight gadget cuts like butter! I even had to cut larger wide roots and with about 6 cuttings, BAM, yes I cut them too! Anyone can use this but be careful, this is not a toy, it is extremely sharp and capable. I am a gardener and have many tools including my favorite DeWalt collection however this?? Is smaller, simpler and weighs less, since it has no exterior battery. It is not a wimp on energy, nope! I charged it 5 days ago, that's alot of usage for an overnight charge. Don't overthink this, this is my second type of rechargeable pruner, I highly recommend them if you have a hand issues, maybe arthritis or just need a lighter pruning device.

I simply love this clipper. I took it out of the box , when I received it, tested it, made sure that it worked and put it back in the box. About a month later -which was yesterday -I took it out of the box and went outside to trim some bushes. It worked like a charm ! Very easy to use. To pull the trigger you must also have your other fingers press a bar on the handle itself, which is the safety feature. One will not work without the other. Both must be depressed. But it has a natural feel to it. Easy. Even wiith my hand problems. This clipper cut small vines & it cut branches that were up to 3/4 of an inch ! I was impressed !!! I bought it mainly because I have carpal tunnel syndrome and sometimes my hand doesn't work as well as other times. I figured instead of getting a regular clipper, I would buy a power clipper. I am so glad that I made this purchase !!! And I encourage others to do the same. It is well worth the money, it is well built, and the battery is at the back and therefore it doesn't get in the way of your going into the bushes and trim the bushes. It's a perfect size to fit right in your hand. A must buy !!!! Some electric clippers have the battery on the side. Too cumbersome gets in the way. This on is on back end. Also --- I have used this yesterday and today for an hour yesterday and an hour and a half today and it was still the charge that came when I received it from Amazon. That's how good of a machine this is. It has worked from its original charge - not from my charge. East to clean. Just wipe off the blade. Great power ! Holds a great charge ! Excellent product !!! 5+ Stars !!!!

Was a perfect present for my mom who loves gardening but was complaining about hand fatigue from using manual clippers, especially with thicker branches. However, she complained that the repetitive movement of activating the dual triggers on this device caused hand fatigue. Perhaps there could be a more ergonomic design while still being safe. I was impressed by how safe it is and how powerful, effective at cutting branches with no hesitation. It's compact to carry and handle, lightweight enough, and intuitive to use. I would give it 3 stars (because of ergonomics) but I really think it's the best item on the market that I can find, and I would buy again if there is a need.

These are great for arthritis hands. I love to garden but my hands hurt so this works perfecting. I even bought a pair for a friend who only has use of one arm. She loves the, as well. Holds a charge well. Rarely have to recharge. I do wish they came in a left handed variety.

I needed a pruning shear to cut large brush down. Well I must say this electric pruning shear works good and it very sharp when cutting large and thick branches. It's easy to use and it has good power to it so you can stay in control and be safe while cutting. It so worth the money.

I was impressed when I first took it out. Wasn’t sure it could perform the trimming task of “the rose bush”. I was surprised at how strong it was w the perfect cut. It took me a minute to understand the mechanics of the blade but within minutes the rose bush was groomed. It held its charge and ready for more. It’s a keeper. I like that I can hold the branch to trim and judge the cut and it’s easy to get the blade in and cut while pulling branch off at same time. Manual pruners are usually a little more clumsy. Definetly worth the investment.

This rechargeable pruning shear was well-liked by us due to its lightweight and easy to use. After our old one, which we had owned for about 2 years, stopped working, I bought a second one about a month ago. I only used it a few times; it overheated a couple of days ago. Now, it cannot be recharged and is completely unusable. Since the return window has expired, it is not possible to return. I will not buy this type of product again.

Great product, not too heavy - heavier than normal pruner yes, but easy on your wrist. Lasted for about 6 hours of use and still had power. Used on overgrown shrubs and small pines - handled decent sized limbs. Made spouse happy.
