Anker Prime Charging Station, 240W 8-in-1 Power Strip, 2 AC, 4 USB C

I love this thing... So much so that I bought and extra one for myself to travel with, another for my niece going to college, and another two for my best friends... I combined this with a 240W USB-C cable to power my MacBook Pro and it makes a power brick for my laptop unnecessary... Love the ability to see what's charging where and how much... I initially bought this as a travel device, and at first I thought I wouldn't use it for travel because the power supply is so large... But it's so versatile and useful the large and heavy power supply it's worth the weight and size... The Cord length is great... And the Charging Speed is absolutely fantastic... The convenience of being able to charge multiple devices off of one charger is fantastic and keeps everything nicely organized on my desk...

The Anker Prime 240W Charging Station to streamline my desk setup, and it is an absolute beast. Between my MacBook, phone, and all my content creation gear, I need a serious power solution. The charging capacity is incredible. It handles everything effortlessly. The selection of USB ports is exactly what a modern setup needs. You get four USB-C and two USB-A ports right on the front. I can fast-charge multiple devices at the exact same time without any drop in speed. The two AC outlets on top are also perfect for plugging in a monitor or a larger power brick. Cable management is usually a headache. This station makes organization completely painless. It features a great flat profile that sits flush and secure. It looks sleek sitting next to my Alienware monitor instead of looking like a messy, traditional power strip. Installation was completely straightforward. The 5-foot detachable extension cord gives you plenty of slack to route the plug perfectly behind your desk. You just set it up, plug it in, and you are good to go. When it comes to reliability, it delivers consistent power without ever getting too hot. Keep in mind that this is strictly a desktop accessory and not meant for travel. I will definitely be leaving it on my desk when I head to Paris later this summer. If you want a clean, high-performance charging hub for your home workspace, this is entirely worth the money.

I have absolutely loved this power station for almost 2 years now and it died recently while charging my laptop. Anker support just absolutely blew me away tonight with my first ever warranty claim with them and in a very short time from sending them a message to ask if it has a warranty and giving them details about what was not working right, they already have a replacement shipping to me and it has a prepaid return label in the box for my old one!!!! Products fail, it happens, but when having this easy a time dealing with the failure, I have to say I love this company even more now! As this power station goes, I remember being a little wary at first about the feedback regarding the "wall barnacle". As big as this power cord wall plug is, it rarely is a problem for me and the fact it gives me such great power from the usbc ports, 2x 120v outlets that can be independently turned off or on with simple buttons, additionally USBA power, connects to Wi-Fi and I can control things and see power details from my phone through the Anker app showing really great versatility in it's function and the cord length has been great without being to little or to much pretty much everywhere I use it, it is a really well designed unit! If the wall charger plug is to big and you can deal with a smaller amount of power output, they do have a 140w charger option that I also own and has similar functionally but not everything this one does.

This charging station is pretty solid and works exactly as advertised. Charging speeds have been great, and it handles multiple devices without any issues. My favorite feature is the low-profile design. It doesn't take up much space on the desk and keeps everything looking clean and organized instead of having a bunch of separate chargers and cables everywhere. Overall, it's well-built, reliable, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Very happy with it.

I'm normally pretty happy with Anker products, and I am mostly happy with this one, but I do have one minor complaint. A few months ago my display screen stopped working. This is not a big deal since it's really not critical to be able to see how much load is on each port, but it is annoying that a feature stopped working on a product in Anker's premiere lineup. Other than this minor grievance, the product is great. The low profile makes it cleaner than a lot of other desktop options for multiport charging devices. The switched outlets can also be handy if you have lamps or other items that you might want to switch on/off from the unit. The power brick that plugs into the wall is pretty chunky, so be sure to plug it in somewhere that it won't get bumped. If Anker wants to send me a replacement with a working display screen I won't tell them no, but it's doing it's job of moving electrons where I need them at a respectable rate so I'm happy about that.

I’ve been using this device for almost two years, and I’ve been very happy with its performance. It has been reliable, well-built, and overall a very high-quality product. Recently, about a month before it reached the two-year mark, the screen and Wi-Fi stopped working. While looking for information about the issue, I found out that Anker offers a two-year warranty on this type of device. I contacted their customer service, and they told me they would replace the device at no cost as long as I sent the defective unit back, which I did. The entire process was very simple and straightforward. I was already a fan of Anker products, but this experience gave me even more confidence in the brand. They make excellent products, and their customer service and warranty support really stand behind the quality they advertise.

This Prime Charging Station from Anker seemed like the PERFECT product that I was looking for. It has WiFi connection capabilities, iOS in-app controls and reports, and even the ability to schedule certain outlets to power on and off. It has a solid build, and just feels incredibly substantial. The two electrical outlets each independently extend when a plug is inserted, and all of the USB ports charge very quickly. The wall plug itself is VERY HEAVY and cumbersome, and has a unique multi-pin connection, so you absolutely NEED both pieces when traveling. That’s fine, it all makes sense to me. I was very happy with it and singing its praises. Cut to this week- I got to work and realized my iPhone and Apple Watch were giving me low power warnings, so when I got home I checked my charging dock and realized it wasn’t charging. I plugged in one of my old ones and it wasn’t charging either, that’s when I realized the Anker Charging Station display wasn’t responding. I messaged Amazon and they instructed me to message Anker. I submitted a warranty request through Anker. Anker responded the next day asking for a video example of how it wasn’t working. After I got home from work, I recorded a short video showing how it wasn’t working. That response took ANOTHER day. Anker responded by advising me that they would send a prepaid label for me to send in the charging station, and ONLY AFTER THEY INSPECTED IT, would they send out a replacement. This isn’t worth the box they sent the product in. This is absolutely not a good value for the price, and I would HIGHLY advise skipping this purchase, saving your money, and purchasing a regular power strip. 3 months? And no expedited replacement process? I used to love this brand.

The Anker prime charging station is fantastic and easy to use. First off it’s listed as not for travel probably due to the weight which is about a pound, but we use it when driving and traveling to older bed and breakfasts that do not have many outlets. This lets us plug up all our phones and tablets in one spot. It has a built-in search protector so I actually use it around the house as well to charge up our devices, game, controllers, and headphones. I really like that it shows you how much wattage is being drawn by each device hooked up to USB – C. There are four USB-C slots, two regular grounded, plugs, and some of the older USB slots on the sides. The device has been very reliable and works great.

By far the best charging station I have ever purchased. Let's me check on the progress of items that are charging and has two outlets. Very useful.

Very impressed with the quality and functionality of this charging station. lightning fast recharging with a bright easy to read and informative display. Wish it came with an eight foot cord, otherwise a perfect product for my needs.

Why buy this? Everyone has a multitude of AC and USB plugs existing all around them. I agree with that. But here’s a use case scenario that might give you a similar idea. I sometimes do video editing in bed on my MacBook Pro. I sometimes, well often, have a couple of hard drives, a hub, a usb powered cooler and so on. All these things need power. I plop this Anker power station on my bed after plugging it in (that’s only one cord for power). Everything I use around me including my laptop, iPad and phone gets power from this Anker brick and I need not reach or look for more wall plugs or usb plugs for power. You plug this in and it brings you half your town’s hydro station right close beside you. Useful in a hotel surely and just anywhere you have allot of stuff that needs to be plugged in to operate or charge up. I like mine and use it often. It can run a bit warm when on heavy load, but Anker did a decent job in the design to control it. Recommended.

Great portable charge station, however the power plug is extremely bulky, & to make it worse, the prongs on the plugs does not rotate to hide, power plug/brick has a nice shiny black finish, with a LED light ring, nothing more, still don't understand why it's so bulky. LED screen, when viewed at an angle is blurry, it must be view directly perpendicular to your eyes (like your monitor), which is not realistic when you have this laying on your desk next to your laptop &/or tablet workstation. Power cord could be shorter, but that is personal preference. However, if the power cord can be disconnected from both the power brick & the charger itself, it would reduce the bulkiness when packing into a backpack for travels. Implementation of the phone app is nice, but nearly useless.

Fantastic charger, runs my laptop, S25 ultra, Garmin watch and anything else simultaneously. Can track power usage and adjust the profiles of the ports for priority.
