A very good keyboard for typing. The build quality of the enclosure is phenomenal, The wisteria tactile switches are excellent lightweight tactile switches. Coming from Cherry MX Clear switches (tactile), I like how the tactile bump of the Wisteria seems to extend throughout the entire keystroke such that you have bottomed out by the time you reach the end of the tactile bump. The slightly short 3.1mm travel distance and the quick springback of the switches makes my typing quicker. The acoustics of the keyboard are also an extremely pleasant, clean, loud clack. The volume knob turning action has a high quality feel to it where you can easily feel the steps on it. The software is just okay, and I wish that I could change the function of clicking the volume button to be a play/pause control, instead of just a mute button or a few other functions with the keyboard backlighting that I don't care about. I don't even use the keyboard backlighting because the included keycaps don't have transparent legends so it is basically completely non-functional. I am upgrading from a WASD TKL Code Keyboard v2 with Cherry MX Clear switches after almost 10 years, so the mechanical keyboard landscape has changed a lot for the better. Back then, you simply couldn't even buy a keyboard with this caliber of quality. The quality of the aluminum finish on this keyboard's enclosure is nipping at the heels of apple's anodized aluminum finishes. The sound of the keyboard is much more refined and has less extraneous noises caused by the hollower enclosures and the metal wire stabilizers of ye olden days. The pre-lubed switches also help this a lot. I was looking to buy a keyboard a few years ago back when it would have cost 4x more to get a keyboard that isn't even as good as this one. I'm glad I waited. If I were to change one thing about this keyboard, I would make the sound a bit lower pitched and a bit quieter. To my understanding these are both inherent qualities of a keyboard with a metal enclosure and with tactile switches that are more difficult to massage away with mods than on say, a keyboard with a plastic enclosure and linear switches.

I use this keyboard for gaming and work. I really like this keyboard, but it does have some quirks out of the box. I am going to give it strong marks but the quirks may give someone else pause. Overall it looks great, and feels and sounds great to type on—I honestly look forward to typing with it. The customization options are fine for my needs, but I don’t re-map a whole lot. The LED features are fine for me, but the light does not shine through the letters on the keys with the provided keycaps. Lots of positive reviews on here that I would echo, so I’m just going to share the quirks for anyone else. Quirk #1 - It does not function out of the box with Playstation 5. This is due to the N-Key Rollover feature of the keyboard, which is not currently supported by the PS5. This is not Epomaker’s fault, but they do not call this out nor do they provide a solution out of the box. The PS5 will not respond to any key presses when the keyboard turns on. To solve for this, I had to map a Fn key to toggle N-Key Rollover off/on. Using the included key mapping utility to do this (linked from the Epomaker site) I mapped “Toggle NKRO” to Fn-N. Now when I connect the keyboard to the PS5, I have to press Fn-N every time to toggle N-Key Rollover off. This is acceptable to me and is a universal issue for keyboards that support N-Key Rollover. I did have to figure this out on my own but I shared with Epomaker support so hopefully they document this somewhere. Quirk #2 - Out of the box a single press of the spacebar occasionally resulted in two spaces—I believe this is called chatter. It happened at a low rate of spacebar presses (1-5% of the time I would use the spacebar) but enough to notice and be annoyed. Another reviewer called this out as well. I replaced the switch with one of the spares and it still occurred. I contacted customer support and they provided me with a firmware update that fixed it. If I took any stars away it would be because of this issue, but their customer support was responsive and provided a solution. For anyone experiencing key chatter, the website has updated firmware as of late 2024 that fixes this issue. Net—a great keyboard experience. For me the quirks are countered by a very good experience with customer support.

this is the second one i bought. the first one works great no problem. this one that i just bought the dongle doesnt work ao i had to pair it via bluetooth. and also the knob on this one is bery sticky to press and to turn.

I got the Wisteria tactile switches and it sounds so good. Coming from a plastic-body keyboard, this one feels very premium. Keycaps look great and overall it’s just so much fun to type on!!

Build materials is great, can't say the same for quality. Usb dongle did not work out of the box, thought I would be ok with Bluetooth. Bluetooth failed me recently with the warrenty still intact, but when contacting epomaker, they requested me to send a video of the Bluetooth/usb dongle not working when I already sent screenshots of the screen not connecting. I believe the product should be a good product, but the company gateways the warrenty of a replacement with stupid requests. Due to this interaction with customer service, I will not be purchasing another product from this ccompany. I'd rather pay a premium than to deal with silly warrenty processes. At least Razer takes the product back and does an evaluation similar to nvidia rma. Decent product, poor execution and company process optimization

This is my first foray into the world of mechanical keyboards, so I can't offer any comparisons with other similar keyboards on the market. However, this thing feels super solid and the typing feel with the tactile switched is awesome. It certainly has the clackity-clack sound, although I don't think too offensively loud. I wasn't expecting to be this weirdly excited about a keyboard. The aluminum case is pretty much flawless and danged heavy. There is no danger of the keyboard scooting around the desk as you work. You can also use the keyboard as a bludgeoning instrument if the need arises. I'm using the keyboard in bluetooth mode with my M4 Mac Mini and they actually match quite nicely. I can't comment on the battery life yet.

coming from Zealios 62g switches on a Keychron, got this board with the Wisteria tactile switches, so far it has been an amazing experience. keyboard itself is solid and fun to type on straight out of the box, though it definitely is a bit louder than what I'm used to. an amazing keyboard for the price.

I’ve owned the keyboard for about a month almost, starting experiencing this double clicking issue, sometimes it triple or quadruple clicks, and in rare cases, the key press doesn’t even register. Mainly has happened on the A key, S key, W key, and F key. Shame because I really like the quality and sound of this keyboard. But I can’t give it more than 1 stars due to this reason, which is making it much harder to type and overall use.

L'ho adorata per il primo anno d'uso, peccato che dopo 1 anno circa, mi sono trovato costretto a tenerla sempre attaccata al cavo. Se la stacco, dura poco più di 4 ore.... all'inizio durava anche 1 settimana senza caricarla con un bel uso prolungano...

Literalmente, tenía cero expectativas con este teclado. Cero. Porque soy un enfermo de los teclados mecánicos y porque trabajo con un Keychron con cable que me costó una pasta y que tuve que montar pieza a pieza (invertí mucho tiempo en eso). Este EPOMAKER viene listo para usar. Me han sorprendido tres cosas: - La carcasa metálica: se nota muy premium: - El peso: pesa mucho y eso me encanta. - El sonido: pedí el táctil y suena a música celestial. Estéticamente juzga tú mismo, a mí me encanta. ¿Problema? Sólo le he encontado uno. Las teclas. Vienen con la distribución americana, vamos, que no traen Ñ. A mí eso me da mucho TOC. Además, es muy complicado encontrar sets de teclas en español. Si las encuentras, podrías cambiarlas sin ningún problema. Salvo ese detalle, el teclado es una pasada. Recomiendo.

This was my first aluminum keyboard and I couldn’t have made a better choice. I love that it’s black, minimal, heavy and premium feeling, and best of all has a volume knob. I personally was not a fan of the black and pink keycaps though, so I had to make a 2nd purchase for nicer keycaps which I’m not overly fond of that but it is what it is. Customer service communication is good and they strive to help. It has excellent rgb capability and plenty of connection options. This is really a premium keyboard at a budget friendly price.
