I could have ordered these boots from different sellers on Amazon, but I purposely chose Great Lakes Outdoors due to their high customer service rating (92%). The order shipped promptly, but because of the Christmas shopping rush, the package took extra time to arrive. Today, I received the Hunter boots. Excellent condition. True to size. Very pleased with my purchase and customer service. I would purchase from this seller again. With a heart of gratitude.

Perfect fit and great protection. My wife loves it

Great boot, different feel than a regular wellie, but surprisingly better! The wedge sole it perfect and I definitely prefer it to the separate heel. I wear a 8.5 normally, so always order a 9 when it comes to my work wear boots. These fit a little bit long length wise, but I think there’s a touch of extra width in the tow box that is just perfect! My poor pinkie toe isn’t left sore from a day in the Coop and garden! Also the sole has some really nice cushion to it and descent arch support which makes these worth every penny. Haven’t experienced and slipping with the solid bottom, and I’ve been in the muck with these already. Shaft height is great and width on the calves is good too, allows my pants to drop into the boot without have to struggle. My only complaint is the logo rubbed off the left insole on day one, but I can overlook the minor annoyance and have definitely found my new fav wellies.

I was looking for a rain boot and I ordered a pair of these in a 7. I normally wear a 7.5 shoe and I have a very high arch. The 7 was a tad tight and there was no way I could have added a thick warm sock. They were very cute and very comfortable. I did return them because I wanted the option to add a heavy sock or the hunter boot sock. I ended up ordering the short tour as I discovered you could roll them up to travel which I do alot of. BUT if i were to buy a second pair in another color I would order these for sure but in an 8 to have the extra room for socks and not be so tight on my foot.

Boots are beautiful and well made. Unfortunately my calfs are too big and did not fit comfortably. I did however order the short pair and they are just as good to me! Overall it is a well made beautiful boot.

I purposely ordered a bigger size than usual so I could easily put on and off and it’s just like how I wanted it to be.

Der Stiefel wird als Damenstiefel vermarktet, allerdings ist die Passform der Größe 43 identisch mit den Passformen der Herrenstiefel, vor diesem Hintergrund darf man den Stiefel von Passform und Größe getrost als Unisex-Stiefel bezeichnen. Alles andere ist eine Frage von Design und Geschmack.Der Stiefel wird als "tall" bezeichnet, im Vergleich zu den klassischen tall Hunterstiefel ist er jedoch deutlich kürzer (siehe Vergleichsbilder), entsprechend geht er etwa bis zur Mitte des Unterschenkels und nicht etwas bis knapp unter das Knie.Wie bei Hunter üblich handelt es sich um Naturkautschuk-Stiefel von angenehmer Materialdicke, nicht zu fest, aber dennoch dick genug, dass auch Schutz und ein bisschen Isolation entsteht. Das Material nimmt rasch Körperwärme an und trägt sich dann angenehm.Natürlich sind die Schuhe nicht atmungsaktiv und man beginnt früher oder später auch darin zu schwitzen. Sehr angenehm ist, dass bei den Naturkautschukstiefel aber danach die Füße und Stiefel nicht so stinken wie bei preiswerten PVC-Produkten. Ehrlicherweise gibt es viele Turnschuhe, wo der Geruch nach gleicher Tragezeit deutlich unangenehmer ist.Was die Größe betrifft, so gilt auch hier bei mir (wie bei anderen Hunterschuhen): Ich trage in der Regel Größe 42 (bei sehr wenigen Schuhmarken 43), bei Hunter brauche ich definitiv 43. Dass passt dann mit normalen Wollsocken noch gut, zusätzliche Stiefelsocken oder ähnliches passen dann aber schon nicht mehr. Daher vor dem Kauf evtl. überlegen für welchen Zweck / Jahreszeit man den Stiefel braucht und entsprechend die Größe auswählen, damit später keine Enttäuschung entsteht.
