Rubie's Count Dooku Lightsaber Accessory

This toy was actually purchased by my son. He is a Star Wars villains fan. He was so excited to see a count dooku light saber and played with it since he received it. It is very durable and you can change the sound effects of the saber

First to start off, the light saber itself is very cool looking. However, that is the only positive. When it lights up (which took about 30 minutes to achieve) it glows pink. Not red. The handle and blade are made of cheap, lightweight plastic that breaks very easy. The blade falls out and comes apart with ease, and is very clumsy and bendable. The blade doesn't lock in, so even though it goes into the hilt, when upside down the entire blade erects. Overall very disappointed, and will not be buying from Rubies Costume Co. Inc anymore. Highly recommend you save your 15$, cause it is not even worth that.

Good costume piece. A little cheap for child's play.

This thing is junk. It is made from a really cheap plastic. It has sharp edges. Makes no sounds and barely lights up. Please do not bother spending your money on it. You will be sending it back trust me.

Overall, the lightsaber is decently made, the basic parts are resilient and the plastic is solid, but the unit is overpriced for what you get.Issues - the center piece of the blade likes to stick in the base, shortening the length and making it stubby.The light-up LED was 'ok' for the 2 days it lasted before it broke away and fell out the tip.

My son has been looking for this lightsaber for quite some time now. So despite several negative reviews I thought I would try it out for the price. Be aware this is not a Hasbro branded lightsaber, mine did not light up like it was supposed to but my son didn't care. The blade is much much thinner than most toy lightsabers. We didn't have any issue with the blade falling out per other reviews, but after a few days of light dueling we started noticing small cracks. Then one harder than normal hit and the top broke right off. For a display or costume this would be a great purchase (if the light works). Not so much to play with.

Very poor quality item, didn’t work and when I asked to return it they wanted a photo of the item that they sent which was pointless and then closed the return request.Would never recommend this item and appalling customer service.
