Amazing product, made my old car feel like a new one
I have an old Peugeot and this is the best value for money upgrade I could have done. I configured it easily at my desk and then connected through the car lighter port in less than 5 minutes. It pairs automatically to my phone every time I turn the car on and I can play through bluetooth, aux cable but my car doesn’t have those so it’s amazing that the carplay screen also transmits through the FM and I can just tune the car radio to it!! I’m very, very impressed with the responsiveness of the screen and using navigation on the 9” screen is so much better. It also has a screen mirroring mode than I didn’t use much but can be useful to some. The mounting options are great too, I chose to use the stick-on mount but they also provide a suction cup mount if you want to attach it to the windscreen, definitely 5 star purchase! It feels sturdy and great quality

Greta unit. A brilliant addition to the car
Very nice unit. The screen is great quality and perfect size. Big and clear but not so big that it takes over the dash board. Has a suction windscreen mount or a self adhesive mount to go on the top of the dashboard. That also has holes in for screwing to the dash if you want. Set up is very easy following the instructions and then connections easily and quickly to the phone automatically everytime it is switched on giving the usual car play functionality. The power supply also includes an FM transmitter so you can get auto from the unit through your car stereo by tuning the radio in. Has an option for a reversing camera to be connected but it does not come with that. Have found this to be a great addition to the car. Great to have access to digital radio, navigation from the phone etc with easy touch access for answering calls etc. All in all very pleased with it

Amazing piece of kit, works perfectly.
I purchased this product after reviewing several models and was impressed by its favourable reviews. I am pleased with my decision as it has proven to be a highly effective device. It arrived well-packaged with all necessary instructions and a manufacturer’s warranty. The product demonstrates meticulous attention to detail. It is robust and the screen is responsive with no lag. It can be mounted above the dashboard or the windscreen is compatible with Android and iOS devices and is easy to install. The power cable is USB and after installation, connecting to the power is straightforward. Initially, it prompts a Bluetooth connection which is simple to complete. Subsequent connections are automatic and have not caused any issues. The device is compatible with both Android and iOS, providing either Google Maps or Apple Maps depending on the phone. It also supports Waze Maps and a wide range of other applications. This versatility makes it more than just a satnav device. It also functions as a messaging, video and podcast player. It offers excellent value for money and I would definitely purchase this model again. I have found no negatives and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Fantastic piece of kit
Really pleased with this piece of kit. The screen size is excellent and the touch screen is very responsive. It boots immediately and so far, three weeks in, has never failed to connect to my phone which was the reason I decided to replace my previous, cheaper version. Picture quality is really good and I use the included aux cable to use the aux input in my car as it is old and doesn't have a Bluetooth radio. I have also tested the FM option and that works well with good sound quality through the stereo. As mentioned, the touch screen is very responsive making it easy to scroll through the various screens. With the screen being larger I use the split screen option much more than I used to on my previous, smaller version. Set up was a breeze, literally went into Bluetooth on my iPhone, tapped the unit name, confirmed the pairing and that was it. Could not have been easier. The package includes two mounts and a round sticky pad which I have put on the dashboard. The unit is very stable, doesn't shake around when driving and has not fallen off once yet. I can only recommend this item, I was a little nervous about spending this much when cheaper options were available but this was really worth the money and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Thought it was good but had to return
Bought this as an alternative to an expensive repair for my yeti infotainment system. Chose the 9” size which is quite big but fits fine. Once my iPhone was paired to this device it worked perfectly and with ease. No lag or distortion. I used the suction cup on my original frontage rather than the glass window and it has gripped well and not fallen off, slight wobble from car vibration when driving but not distracting. I can’t use my cars speakers so have to use the one placed at the back of the device which is adequate, would prefer it a little louder. Overall a good product for the price UPDATE : had to return it because it kept cutting out every couple of minutes. screen went black and then turned itself off for no visible reason.

This screen is fantastic! With only a little bit of setup it does exactly what it says it does, giving my old Corolla Android Auto compatibility so I can now enjoy my music and always have GPS available without having to touch my phone. I can also use voice commands to control everything. The many different modes also make it pretty flexible for any particular need you might have. You can use it as a speaker by itself for example. I have had a couple of times when it's bugged out a little, but honestly, it's been much more reliable than I would expect any $70 aftermarket device to be! For example, Android Auto once crashed when a passenger took a picture with my phone while it was running my GPS in an area there was no data service. It immediately reloaded but GMaps couldn't redownload the directions without data, and so I was driving blind for a little while, which was not great. But also, it's pretty reasonable that my phone had trouble playing music, relaying offline GPS directions, communicating with the screen through both BT and WiFi, and taking a picture at the same time, which is typically not something you need to do all at once. So, I chalk that one up to it being Android Auto on my phone's fault. Pro-tip: Set up a driving mode so your phone automatically turns on Bluetooth and Wifi whenever it connects to either one (this screen requires both for Android Auto) and location for GMaps. Screen could be slightly quicker at booting up and connecting, but it does so pretty reliably within 5-10s max I'd say, so more than quick enough if I turn my car on as soon as I hop in, before putting on my seatbelt or doing anything I need to before I get going. This thing is also surprisingly sturdy! The reason I know is because the Texas sun was not forgiving on the adhesive in the pivot stand where it adheres to my car's console, so I would typically come back to my car and both the screen and mount would have fallen onto my shifter and either the floor or the passenger seat. But massive props to the fact that neither the screen nor the mount have broken or even shown signs of damage after dozens of times this has happened! I'm pretty sure the pivot mount was meant to be stuck onto the glass, so that's partly my fault too. And customer service was a breeze to work with and they happily sent me a replacement mount. I think I probably fiddled with it too much at times, including removing it and hiding it whenever I was paranoidly worried about someone being incentivized by the screen to break into my car in a particular area. (Who knows! They might not realize it's cheap lol) I'm still going to slap the new mount onto the console instead of the glass, so hopefully I can find a way to take better care of it this time.

My car is from 2015 and has Bluetooth for my Android phone but that's it. I really wanted Android Auto so that I could have a display with bigger maps, play streaming music through it and have my text messages read when they were received. I watched a number of online videos and reviews of various units and this LAMTTO looked like it was the best bang for the buck, so I ordered one. Out of the box, I followed the simple instructions of turning my phone's Bluetooth and WiFi on. I had already paired my phone with the car, so I just needed to pair it with the LAMTTO unit. This went smoothly and the WiFi connection was also set up. I chose to output the sound from the unit using Bluetooth and that was it. The unit was up and running after no more than a couple of a minutes of setup. My phone is a Pixel and so I am using Android Auto. I was able to use the Google Maps app and YouTube Music. Everything works like a dream. What really impressed me is that without changing anything in the car or on the device, I am still able to use my car's microphone for phone calls and the steering wheel mounted controls that came with the car for jumping from track to track on YouTube Music work (as do the volume and mute controls). If there's anything else I need, I simply say "OK, Google" and make my request. It's worked flawlessly. I wanted to change the logo from the default sports car to the car company logo so the device looks more "stock." I contacted customer service and they walked me through the process via email. In case anyone is interested in how to do this there is a SD card reader under the sticker that has the button functions on the left side of the device. I formatted the SD card as an ExFAT device on my PC and created a 1024 x 600 72 dpi JPEG image which was saved as boot_logo.jpg on the SD card. I booted the device up without the card in the slot. After the device was powered up, I put the card in and saw a message that notified me that the boot logo had been updated. I shut the device down and removed the card. Upon the next boot, the new logo appeared and that was it. Thanks to Nancy at LAMTTO for the guidance to get this done. The only nitpicky downside I have discovered is that the even though there is an automatic switch setting between day and night mode for Google Maps, it doesn't work. Other reviewers also noted this. All things considered, this is actually a small annoyance because it's relatively simple to change the mode on the device as the need arises. All in all, I highly recommend this device if you're looking to update an older car to Android Auto without pulling the whole stereo system as so many of the Android Auto head units do. I took a look at several different size configurations of these devices and this one allowed me to see a big Google Maps area (great for my old eyes) and the unit still sits below the horizon of the front windshield. I'd recommend before buying any unit that you find out the height and width of the unit, draw it up and put the drawing in the car to see the real estate it's going to consume -- you want to be able to see your entire windshield field of view. Safety first! I am now in the process of ordering a piggyback fuse tap to wire this into my fuse box so the cigarette outlet in the center dash console isn't used and the install will look cleaner. Overall this is an awesome product and the company provides awesome customer support! I couldn't be anymore pleased.

I really like this CarPlay device! It connects well, the screen is clear, and it makes using maps and music while driving so much easier. The setup was pretty straightforward, and the overall performance has been solid so far. The only downside is that it doesn’t stick as well as I expected. It tends to shift or move a bit while I’m driving, which can be a little annoying. I might try using a different adhesive or mount to keep it more secure. Despite that, I still really like it and think it’s a great value for the price. If you’re looking for a more affordable CarPlay option, this one definitely does the job!

I bought this screen simply because of carplay. I’m currently driving a 2004 Dodge Durango and the stereo is not the greatest. This display does exactly what it says and it does it well. The screen is very bright that you can see it crystal clear in day light and it can be dim to a point where you can still see the screen clearly at night without it being super bright. The touch display response very quickly and at boot it only takes a few seconds to boot up and connect to my phone via carplay. AUDIO - The display does have several ways for audio output, Bluetooth, Aux Cable, And FM Transmitter, technically it has its own speaker too. But I didn’t use it to be honest. Bluetooth might be the best option for most people, I wish it was mine. But my stereo is locked in and can’t reset my bluetooth. So aux is the second best. Most car do have an Aux port which is the headphone jack to headphone jack cable. Very useful and as easy as plug and play. Probably the best option for most. FM Transmitter - i read another comment saying it was not good and I kinda would like to agree but I tested with both 12V Sockets that my vehicle has and the first one is right below the dashboard and it works it powers on and as soon as you turn the vehicle off and open a door the display turns off because power is cut, and this socket for what ever reason had a huge load of static. No matter what frequency, you could always hear static and very muffle. But I tried it on the second socket thats in side the middle compartment and there was no more static. Audio was clear and had no issues with the audio. It did however stayed on for a few minutes after the vehicle was off and the door had been opened. So I found that to not be Okay... simply because my phone would stay connected to the display until I was out of reach. Nevertheless- If Carplay is what your aiming for this is a great display. It’s big enough and maybe a little too big but overall I’ve had a great experience with it and it’s worked much better than expected.

My car does not have a working cigarette lighter. It is a 2018 Nissan Sentra. I don’t have Apple CarPlay in my car and I really enjoyed it on cars that I have rented. I decided I would purchase this for a trip and it was wonderful. It’s very helpful. It’s huge. I will say it is extremely large. I bought a USB-C cord to charge it in my car because my car does have a USB port. You will need either a USB cord with USB-C or a cigarette lighter to keep this thing powered up. I’d say it’s really worth it. It has to be plugged into a power source and the car turned on in order to work. I bought the $10 insurance in case something happens with it. I think it’s well worth it. I have it hooked up to my window because I don’t really want to put it anywhere else. It works well, it does take some learning. It plays through my car Speakers through Bluetooth and it sounds pretty good. I use it for GPS (Waze and Apple Maps) and I also use it to listen to music. It’s really awesome and I highly suggest getting this. There Was one time that it did turn off in the middle of me driving and turned back on, I’m not sure what happened. However this is a great idea. I didn’t want to spend $500-1000 getting it installed In my car, my car already has a back up camera so I did not purchase the one with a back up camera, however I would say that that’s pretty good deal. Ive left it in a heated car all day for weeks at a time and there are no issues, however, I won’t suggest leaving it in the heat. The features are great. It’s just like a regular CarPlay, Apple CarPlay or Android CarPlay. It’s durable. It’s easy to read and the speakers actually not too bad if that’s all you’re going to use if you have an older car or you do something like DoorDash or any of those things and you’re looking for something to help you. I really suggest getting this. I also told my parent, my dad, he does delivery jobs like that and I think it’ll be really helpful for him. Im so glad they offer this for people that do not have factory CarPlay, its well worth the price and saved me a ton of money. Update: it’s Jan 2026 and this baby is still going! I had to buy a replacement arm to hold it that attaches to my window. Sometimes with iPhone updates I find sound issues where I wasn’t able to hear navigation from Apple Maps. Could just be user error. Not sure but this thing is SO worth the purchase. If it does out I’ll absolutely buy another one.
