Eveready QH800 800 Watts Room Heater (Black)

I purchased this in January 2018 and it's still alive with only one rod working. It's almost 3 years now and I can't ask for more at this price range. Even though it's flickering in between and taking it's last breaths.Please note that durability and longevity depends on individual usage conditions. I have used this in harsh himachal winters.One thing to keep in mind that one rod will not be useful within few months of purchase. I believe this is the fate of cheaper halogen/quartz rod heaters.Nevertheless a good heater for just passing one season and if you use it well then maybe another season.

I was divided on which type of heater to buy: fan-based element heater or a passive convection based halogen type heater. Halogen based ones have too my pros. This one has two modes: one tube or two tube heating, although the knob has four positions, the two modes repeat on the dial. Since it only uses 800W at max load, compared to 2000W fan based heaters, with single tube mode (400W), it can run on inverter. Fan based heaters also suck out the humidity in the room, make your skin dry and can make you thirsty. The color of this one isn't dark grey like in the picture, it is black and the materials seem to be good. And it is fully noiseless. You can feel direct heat within 10 seconds and within 2 feet, after which the heat spreads out too much. It cannot make a room hot but can keep it warm enough that you don't need to wear several layers at night. Takes about 30-35 minutes to warm up entire 12 cubic feet bedroom. The glow from the tubes lights up the room about the equivalent of a zero bulb.

Heating of the rods are great considering it is 800 watts but the plastic quality is bad, It will definately break if it fall on ground.

Delivery- the package was well wrapped and delivered on time, great!Working condition- at first only the top rod was working (on high heat setting) and so we thought of returning. However we did poke the second rod before returning the product and that seems to make it work so yay, no return!Capability- it's ok for a very small room and works only if u are very near the heater (as in less than a metre). Honestly, my mom who sleeps next to me, doesn't even feel the warmth of the heater (with both rod on) that's as near as my bedside table - so no, I wouldn't recommend this heater if your bedroom is big.Pros - the rods (upto it's capability), heats up fast but not enough firepower.Portable

Decent quality room heater. Body is not very strong in my opinion.

The media could not be loaded.  After checking several room heater I have selected this model of eveready. I have written this review after using it one month. Thanks to amazon to send new & well packed product. Here is my opinion about it.Pros. * moderate build quality * Compact size * Easy to handle * Two mode operation 400w & 800w So I can select it as per requirement Cons. * power cable is not fire proof. Overall it is a good room heater for a 12ft.x12ft room according to price.

This heater is very nice and comfortable.It is very safe and secure heater you can use this heater without any efforts.This heater also have stand which means when it mistakenly falls out it automatically turn off which is the main thing in this heater.It has no too much buttons so it is also easy to use And talk about price this heater one of the best and worth heater in this price range you should buy this heater because this heater one of the best heater in the winter
