KitchenAid 5KSB1585BCA Blender, 550W

It is simply Awesome. It's been a few days using it. Haven't come across a more powerful kitchen-aid to make smoothies that too in seconds. From cashews, beets, pomegranate seeds, etc., everything is transformed into a good homogeneous smoothie. Was using a juicer for almost 2 years, which was cumbersome cleaning and with a heavy heart of wasting so much of useful pulp. This simply changed all that in terms of now the pulp being fully used and just two parts for cleaning: the jar and the lid. The plug is the standard three point with a decent cord length for Indian power outlets. Will recommend this to anyone looking for similar products.

Just bought it recently. Delivered in 1 day as I am a prime Amazon member. Awesome blender. First use, made an Indian version of banana smoothie( banana, milk, sugar and elichi). OMG, best tasting smoothie I have ever tasted in my life. Thick, creamy and just delicious. Other I made was good but not excellent. Guess I need to know the ratio of liquid and solid food that I put into it.Note: Buy a micro fiber cloth to wipe after wash. Had very minute scratch after using regular hand napkin (can hardly notice; but I am a clean freak:(

Please note that the interface between the jar on the mixer motor is plastic and after two years, it is worn out. We have had kitchenaids that lasted 20 years, this lasted 2. update - 1.5 years after we repaired out kitchenaid - now the rubber on the buttons have just disintegrated like you see when exposed to heat - not recommended for india

We have tried numerous blenders in the past. Mostly they don't last long or simply don't have enough power. They are noisy and cleaning is tricky - particularly under the jar where there's lots of grease.Extremely Pleased With This Purchase. We got it in September 2017. It gets used everyday. It's quiet compared to other blenders. Makes banana icecream from frozen bananas really beautifully. Idli batter is super simple to make with this. All our family think this is excellent quality and we would definitely purchase it again.I would give it 6 stars if I could. Thank you KitchenAid for making this available in India. I personally think this would be on par with a Blendtec Blender...

This is a very powerful blender. But in my case it stopped working after two months.Still I am giving it 4 stars because for the period it was working it had superb functionality. in my case may be it was sheer bad luck it stopped working. It's container is of 1.75 liter capacity and I use it too prepare smoothie every morning. This allows me to prepare a big jarful of smoothie which I can use for whole day. It is very powerful and blends uncut fruits and vegetables within one minute.This blender is awesome. It crushes ice in about 10 seconds and makes 1.5 liter of heavy smoothies in in less than 1 minute. I love to watch it when the blending starts. Oh what sheer power! It's base is compact heavy and firm and one need not hold it when blending starts. it's very easy to clean. Though a bit expensive(in comparison with blenders in range of Rs 3000 to Rs 5000) it is worth it. But I had a bad experience. This blender broke down after two months of usage. Initially was very happy with the purchase. But alas it broke down.It is not working. Made in USA.For the average cook and average smoothie maker, KitchenAid is fantastic. It can also be used by professionals.But my blender broke down How can I recommend this if the product if it lasts only for two months.PROSPrice Rs 12730 very much lower in comparison of Vitamix (current price Rs 52299)Very easy and quick blending- even bulky, frozen items. My Experince1. The smoothie works perfect, infact the best.2. The grinding absolutely not satisfying.3. Easy to handle and clean, since only one jar it’s convenient.4. Customer service sucks.5. One year of purchase the machine has stop performing only the lights are blinking, called customer service they are asking me to send the product to Faridabad.After paying bomb for the product if this is what I’m suppose to expect than amazon need to really think about it.I’m extremely unhappy with the fact that the product is not working after one year of usage.I want to tell you all that I have only and only used the product for smoothie purpose, if I would have used it for other gridding stuff then I’m assuming this would have been damaged dairies itself.NOT WORTH THE MONEY

If you are a smoothie lover then this is the best blender available in India. Always gives me the consistency with no chunks at all. Quality is good. It is better than all the other brands in India I have used till now. No issues till now. Will see how it goes, bit expensive though.
