Well worth the investment
I've used this and 5 times so far.... I'm crazy and purchased this for personal use. I've done drainage jobs around my house and this would have made my life SO much easier. I'm starting a shed and patio extension project in the next couple months and this will pay for itself keeping everything flat and level.

Excellent quality
Used it for doing some planning for back yard and building a fence. Exactly what was needed. Laser receiver makes the difference.

Did not work properly out of the box
I purchased this laser new expecting full functionality, but some features didn’t work as they should. While the unit powered on, it didn’t rotate consistently or function correctly in all modes. I’ve used professional lasers like Topcon for years, so I know how these tools should behave. I tried new batteries and followed all setup instructions, but had to return it. Disappointed, especially from a brand like Bosch.

This tool it’s amazing to get elevation levels. On big properties or simple dirt work or landscaping. 👌The self leveling it’s amazing. Easy to use for pros and beginners.

nonfunctional out of the box
Received a nonfunctional unit, it would not cycle thru the self leveling startup process out of the box, would time out with flashing red error lights. Returned it.

Works really well. Battery's last a long time. Build 2 barn pads with it.
