Accurate
I've used these as over-temperature cutouts for electric fans and, more notably, to control the cycle of a solar pool heater I built. It's buried in the outlet tube seen in the pic. It's connected to a relay with a flyback diode. When the temperature of the coils reaches 45°C, the pump turns on and unloads the hot water into the pool. Then it turns off when cold water reenters the coil. It's been operational all summer, so I'd say it works well.

Works like a charm
I am using this to turn a cooling fan on (and off). The switch is normally open (off).I simply taped it to a surface and it worked! When it senses temps over 40°C the switch closes (turns on) and turns on a fan I wired it to.When the fan cools the surface the sensor/switch is on, the switch opens and the fan turns off. I left it hooked up for hours and it went merrily along, turning the fan on and off automatically. I put a couple layers of electrical tape over the sensor so the switch wouldn't cool before the surface it was on.I used an infrared laser thermometer to read the temps and it switches exactly where it claims to.The "head" is a solid metal "lozenge" that appears to be very durable.Oh, it arrived very quickly. I have Prime so I think it showed up in 2 days.Pretty cool for less than a dollar per switch.

2 of the 10 pack were not functioning else good to go
I tested all and 2 of the 10 pack were not working. Still a decent value and seems to turn on a small DC powered fan just fine. Not sure how much temperature hysteresis they have. They are very quiet. I do wish they made a lower temperature model. I am commenting on 40C model and the N.O. option (closes upon temperature rise)
