The accuracy, performance, and ease of use of the rangefinder. Very useful, great tool, and easy to use. No complains. suitable for outdoors as it is for indoor work. It is the best and most reliable option compared to others in the same price range. Screen is Clearly visible during day and backlight option is also there for night. +1 for this .again, if you're just going to measure heights indoors where a tape might not be so easy to use (vaulted ceilings, long walls) then save your money. Some measurers have a fold out probe so you can measure from the end. These have adjustable "measure from" settings like back, front, I find those settings to be useful as well and best if it can be set quickly rather than having a bunch of settings to go through. It is the best and most reliable option compared to others in the same price range. Screen is Clearly visible during day and backlight option is also there for night. Sharing this review because I have used Bosch GLM40 and the bought some cheaper Chinese option which was half the price therefore came with very small screen, very small text and almost invisible screen during the day or even after sunset in the evening.The keypad is a bit hard to press or use.Finally; it would be an additional advantage if there was a live angle displayed during the distance measurement. Although the bubble level is helpful yet you need the exact value of slope angle sometimes.

Must have product for Architects And Interior Designers
It's a nice measuring device. I've been using Bosch rangefinder GLM-40 but it's major drawback was the battery life. Within 10 to 15 measurements the Duracell also were getting drained out. But with Freemans the battery drain problem got sorted out. It's easy to read. Unit conversion is also easy. A must have tool for every Architect, Interior Designer, and engineers. Though it is not much helpful in taking measurements outdoor in daylight it is super efficient in indoors.

Outdoor in daylight doesn't work beyond 35 mtrs as laser is not visible, we can measure 30 meters maximum in daylight, in shade it works better as laser is visible. Very good product very accurate. I have not used volume and area measurements feature as of now but indoors works flawlessly, Satisfied with the performance.
