Fabulous find
I've been using wireless earbuds to listen to true crime podcasts at work for quite a few years. I have sensitive ears, so the type of earbud that you just shove into your ear canal doesn't work for me; they hurt my ears. I was finally able to settle on a neckband, with small molded buds that nestle in the outer part of the ear, pointed into the canal. I used soft silicone ear tips that hooked into the upper part of my ear, and they were pretty comfy. However, the neckband was silicone connected to hard plastic, and after a while of putting them on and taking them off, the silicone breaks away from the hard plastic, and while the sound is fine, the earbuds just fall apart. I had three or four of the same neckands, and I finally just got fed up and started looking for something different. Initially, neckband batteries lasted longer than individual earbuds, but now that's not necessarily the case. The problem for me was finding molded earbuds small enough to not hurt my ears. So I found these and decided to give them a try, and I'm very glad I did. They have a silicone piece that hooks over the ear, and the speaker lies up against the outer ear, with four different positions for adjustment. I need a few things with my work earbuds: 1. Battery life. I start my day at 7:30 am, and around 3:30 pm, I get a sound notifying me that the battery is at 20%. I only wear one at a time because I'm at work, and I don't want to be completely shut off from my coworkers should they need to speak to me. If, for some reason, the one bud dies, I can switch to the other one, which is still in the case and charged. 2. Multipoint connection. I have these connected to my tablet, which is how I listen to podcasts, and my cell phone at the same time, so if I get a phone call, it automatically disconnects from the tablet and switches to my ringing phone. 3. Range. I get up from my desk and move around the office, and I've had some earbuds that wouldn't stay connected at as little as 15 feet away. I experimented once with these, and I would say that at approximately 70 feet away from my tablet, around a corner, they started breaking up a bit. That is, by far, the longest range I've ever come across. I also have a restroom that's maybe 30 or 40 feet away with a thick wall separating it from my devices, and they stay connected. 4. Comfort. Once or twice a day, I need to pull the speaker away from my ear for a few seconds because it gets a tiny bit achy, but comparatively, they are comfortable. Bonus: with other earbuds, if I stay out of range for too long, I often have to reconnect when I get back in range. With these, they will automatically reconnect. There's an app that can be used; you can customize the sound and set functions. For instance, you can set the volume to increase or decrease with one tap or two taps, etc. When the battery is low, you can just put them back in the case and they'll charge up again, even without the case being plugged in. I'm very happy that I found these!

Worth it for over the ears in this price range
Definitely worth it. The best out of many many others that I tried in a similar price range. They rest over ears so you still hear everything around you but their build allows for some bass to come through! So many others did not. I use the EQ in Spotify to dial them in and they are great at almost to full volume on my iPhone 13 using Spotify. If I wear a beanie I can snug them tighter to my ears and that provides more volume and more defined sound for these open ears. They feel light and won’t fall off your ears so are great for physical activities. Not Earbuds though and Not for an Audiophile! These are just the best $30 over the ears that I tried and stuck with cus of sound quality and bass coming through out of maybe 10 different pairs I researched and tried. They’ve lasted a year+ now, one side doesn’t charge to 100% every time, shows 90%, but hasn’t created and actual situation. Their app allows for assigning tap features to each ear piece which is great but not always reliable. Sometimes the tapping doesn’t work and have to restart them, not the most reliable but work fine from the phone. Still worth the price.

Quite good for what they are.
I'm giving these 4 stars only because I can't bring myself to give any earbud-style headphones 5. This is my first pair of wireless, separated stereo earbuds--I typically use ones which are connected to each other via a band around the back of the head. These were super easy to set up and pair with my Android phone and also with my Windows PC. Basically, when you take them out of their charging case, they are instantly powered on and, unless they find an existing available Bluetooth connection they go into pairing mode so they're ready to be found. Could this maybe cause issues in future with someone else managing to pair to them without my permission? I suppose it's possible. Sound quality is pretty good though tends toward heavier bass than I typically prefer, though not nearly as bass heavy as many other name brands. You can use either one alone or both together for stereo. I got them specifically to replace an older voice-only Bluetooth earphone for use with my phone, so I basically have two single-ear pieces I can use, keeping my other ear completely open to hear what's around me. That is a good thing. I have become fond of "bone conducting" headphones which set just in front of the ear, thus leaving the ear completely open, but these sit over the ear canal but not inside it -- there is no silicone bit to stick inside your ear to become uncomfortable over time. They just sort of hand in front of the ear canal. It's kind of odd but it works well. Problem I have, and why I prefer wrap-around style headphones better, is these have proven to be fairly easy to knock off the ear, and they're small enough that they could easily become lost if dropped in the wrong place. So would I buy these again? Probably not, but that's personal preference more than any concern with the build quality, ease of use or sound quality. They are perfectly fine for what they are and are indeed more comfortable to wear than the single-ear voice-only unit they are replacing. But I'm sticking with my wrap-around bone conducting headphones for use at home.

Surprisingly Good — My Ears Are Living Their Best Life
honestly didn’t expect much, but these V20i headphones surprised me\. 😂 The open\-ear design is **so comfortable**, and I love being able to listen to music while still hearing what’s going on around me\. The sound is way better than I expected, the fit stays put, and the battery seems to last forever\. They’re perfect for working out, walking, or just pretending you’re in a music video while doing absolutely nothing\. 😂 **5/5 — would buy again\. My AirPods are currently questioning their job security\.**

Just Great!
These have really nice sound, fit comfortably over the ears, and have great battery life. They aren't noise cancelling; and people will be able to hear the sound when you're listening to them - but I just love them. I use them for bike rides - I know, I know...but I keep them low, and because they aren't inserted, I can hear the traffic just fine. They are a little large for the pocket, but they're thin, so I've slipped them in my jeans and forgotten they were there. The sound is rich, well-balanced, with crisp highs, decent mids, and good bass. Overall, another Soundcore product that has not disappointed! I recommend them whole-heartedly. Peace!

Surprisingly Good
I got these over a year ago for less than $25 and I’m surprised with how good they are. I needed something in a pinch just for calls and expected a product that would sound horrible when listening to music, but these inexpensive earphones sound pretty decent. They have an app that allows you to use different equalizer settings giving you rich sound and bass either using their presets or you can set custom EQ. I like that these are over the ear so you can enjoy your music and still be aware of your surroundings. They are light and comfortable, so much so that I almost forget I’m wearing them at times. The hook over ear design is secure enough that I don’t feel I have to adjust them often like earbuds that constantly feel like they’re going to fall out of my ears. You can also use the app to customize the touch features on each earpiece individually and there are lights on the earphones that you can turn on and off and set to different colours. The batteries last a long time, up to 8 hours on a full charge (when not using the lights feature) and they charge really quickly when you put them back in the case. The only thing I don’t like about them is you can’t tap them to answer calls, which is why I bought them. At least I haven’t been able to figure out how to get that to work. But other than that, I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase.

Ok but not working for what I need
They aren’t bad earbuds. For me they start to hurt my ear quickly so I swap between which ear I wear them. ( meaning I generally only wear one ear at a time.) The primary reason I had bought these was because they could be used on multiple devices at once. I work from home and have to use Microsoft Teams. These aren’t staying connected to the computer in the aspect that I can actually make calls from them. It’ll work for a few phone calls and all of a sudden I can’t hear or say anything to anyone and comes to find out they’re not showing up as a microphone option or sometimes even earphone. But I don’t have this problem with other earbuds. Obviously they work if I accept the call from the app on my cell phone, but sometimes I need it to be on the computer because it’s a screen share and I can’t see the screen that well from my cell phone. I did reach out and they sent me a new pair as I sent them the original back, but this new pair is still doing it. So I don’t really know what’s causing it but it’s obviously not working for what I needed. I still use them, but it’s frustrating.

Soundcore V20i Are Great For The Respective Price
[UPDATE] 03/30/26 -- I started getting some flaky behavior on these ear buds after a couple weeks. Support people have been ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Super available and Super helpful via email. Best response time ever! [UPDATE] 03/01/26 -- MY first experience using blue-tooth ear buds and i have to say this Soundcore V20i by Anker was a really great purchase. Music paying on my PC Sounds really great up to 30 feet from the PC. I was able to configure them using the phone app so one tap will pause the player or video stream on my PC. One tap to resume play. Considering some ear buds ca cost more than $300, Cannot tap to answer or disconnect a call but I'm fine with that. They transition seamlessly and automatically from the Computer to the phone when the call comes in. For the price these are incredible and I highly recommend to anyone considering ear buds for the first time. Was a little bit of a trick figuring out how to get the Samsung "Galaxy A32 5G" phone to pair but it did and worked great. Turned off Bluetooth on the PC and then turned on in the phone. Microphone was very clear and affective. Turned of Bluetooth in the phone and back on in the PC and connected automatically. Reverse that and phone made me select the ear-pods again, not fully automatic like the PC was. Overall quite functional I think. Sound level can very uncomfortably loud so ample volume will never be any issue. Felt like it took me about 5 minutes to get the phone to focus in on the tiny QR code to load the app. (Came on the first page of the typically tiny user manual that came with the buds. I was able to select the Galaxy store to install the app which was good because I don't like to do *anything* with Google. The app makes you sign up with Soundcore to use the app so that's a small negative. The really BIG negative. Signing up to use the app is near impossible. I guess it can be done But it's worse than setting up an online account with your bank, and for what? A little control on the sound for your ear buds? *Ridiculous*!!!!! After messing with all tat non-sense and finally giving up. I closed everything on the phone, set it down, came back later and restarted the Soundcore app. It let me into earbud settings after re-paring. It does have equalizer settings but I only turned on bass boost. Heard no change on my PC sound. Went back to the phone, surprised to find the phone would pair with the bud while still listening to the computer. Made sure that boost was on but still no change on the PC sound. Maybe would affect sound from phone but I never do music on the phone. Bottom line there, these are not going to replace good pair of headphones on your PC. Pairing back and forth on PC and phone is no big challenge so that's a big plus. Probably A newer phone would repair automatically. Mine didn't, but still reasonable. Overall for my first ear bud experience, was not bad at all. Would do it all again.

Punching above their weight class!
I was encouraged to buy a particular brand of bone-induction headphones by a colleague after mentioning my problems with in-ear ones. Sounded like a great idea, I thought, until I saw the prices and realised that it was a bit much to be committing to without knowing if I'd enjoy the way they worked. I thought these seemed like a really good compromise; a way to test the waters, see what I thought. I can always buy a more expensive pair later, I figured. Several months in, and I've yet to find any reason to want to upgrade. As an in-office and WFH headset they are excellent - sound quality is fantastic (crisp and clear), and according to colleagues the microphone is great too, with no distortion or fuzziness. They synched immediately and easily to both my laptop and iPhone... which is great because I love Technology, but Technology doesn't love me back. I don't use the Soundcore earpieces for TV or dedicated music listening... but having said, I don't think anyone would be disappointed by them in that scenerio, unless (like me) your normal alternative for those activities is something like Bose over-ear noise-cancelling. Obviously it's an unfair comparison and I absolutely won't take a star off for it. If dedicated noise cancelling isn't a mandatory requirement, I reckon most people would be perfectly happy with the performance. If you're looking for a set of general-purpose headphones that will absolutely do a great job, give good clear sound without rupturing your eardrum, and work great for videoconferencing, then these'd absolutely be my pick. Maybe something would be better with the more expensive brand-name ones, but honestly I can't find a defecit that needs correcting on these. Even the thingy that goes over your ear, which I expected to be annoying, adjusts well and sits comfortably. I've forgotten I'm wearing them more than once, and that never happened with the in-ear sort: I always had them out within seconds of finishing a meeting. Bang-for-buck wise, I can't fault them. I've been using them for months now, and they're going strong, recharging well, etc. One day when they eventually die on me, maybe I'll try that expensive brand...but honestly, I don't think so. These tick every box I need, and are comfy besides.

Old school look, this is the way.
I am converted. You just don’t expect these to be so good. Playtime is indeed 8 hours. Nice app with a lot of adjustments and possibilities. The box that holds them is big. Overall comfortable alternative to in earbuds without shutting you off from the outside world.
