BIOTENE DENTAL DENTAL CHEWING GUM, 16 CT

I use several biotene products so I decided to try the gum. The flavor is great, and they really make your mouth water for about 15 minutes. The flavor then goes and it's like chewing on flavorless gum. Really was hoping for more.

I suffer from dry mouth and have been using this for a long time....they work and I will continue to use since I have not found anything else to replace them.

This product didn't do what I expected, so was disappointed--no different than any other gum and didn't solve the problem at hand

I suffer from dry mouth due to two very drying medications I cannot live without. All Biotene products came highly recommended to me by my dentist.I chew the gum, use the mouthwash and toothpaste and also use the mouth spray and gel.If you have dry mouth, you are a serious risk for increased cavities, bad breath and as you know, sometimes embarrassment when speaking to others.Water intake is key as well as cutting down on caffeine, and using products like these. After 4 weeks I can tell you that as an RN, it delivers on its promises.

I have all the dry mouth issues that are written here in the reviews. I lost 8 teeth last year, under crowns, mind you, and my dry mouth is unbearable. I go through a spray container every 3 days. I have now ordered the gel, I can't talk without my partials sticking to my cheeks...dreadful. I quit reading scripture in church on Sunday's for this very reason. I have looked high and low for the gum, to no avail. The prices I see here for the gum, in the hundreds, is blowing my mind. Is this how much it really costs? We need to invent something of a reasonable value. Need all the help I can get. Would love to receive free gum for a review....

I discovered this gum in a local store but then they stopped carrying it. I found it on Amazon and got a great deal for purchasing 6 packs. I have tried several other dry mouth products. I did not like Biotene mouthwash,toothpaste or the gel. Has a funky taste to me. The gum has a slight mint flavor and I find it works quickly. I chew one then add a second piece about 15 to 20 minutes later. I also like Oasis mouth spray and carry both with me.

I wake up at night or after a nap with dry mouth; so dry I have to work at it to get any saliva flowing. But with Biotene gum I have plenty of saliva ater one or two chews. There are 8 "chiclet" type pieces per card. I keep a card of this gum next to my pillow and get rid of my desert-dry mouth in a few seconds. Easy to pop out of the card, too.I have placed my second order.

My wife has dry mouth and has used this gum for a long time. She is now trying to find a replacement gum that is as effective as Biotene and has not been successful do far. Does anyone have a suggestion for another dry mouth gum?
