I work overnights and have been reluctant to purchase a light therapy item. I finally settled on this lamp due to its different setting remote and other reviews. Having suffered a degree of seasonal depression I was reluctant and thought light therapy was a gimmick. However, I was surprised to find that sitting under this lamp does make me feel more alert and overall healthier. It is very bright and does a great job. I actually ordered one for work in addition to the one now have for home. It’s not as tall as I expected but it does the job !

I like the stand and variations he can make on this lamp but there is no way in heck that it is strong enough to be advertised as a Sunlamp. The light output is very weak Compared to just regular table lamps that I have

I read a lot of reviews before picking this lamp and am glad I chose the one I did. It is very well made and a lot bigger than I anticipated. It's nice to be able to have so many options as far as brightness and the angles you can set it up. Hoping it does the trick.

All my life I've struggled with a general sense of "the doldrums" during winter . About 5 years ago, I decided to try a "therapy light" for an hour a day. After a couple of weeks, I started to notice that my mood was gradually improving, which I attributed, at least in part, to the use of the light. Since then I've become a believer. Not just because of my personal experience, but also because of the associated research that I had done. So I ordered the RICIAL Sun Lamp so I'd also have a lamp at my second, part-time residence.As it turns out, I'll be using this product at my primary residence because it is actually better than my existing lamp, also purchased from Amazon, which was around the same price.One of the first things I noticed about this lamp is the sheer weight of it, which gave me a distinct impression that it was "better quality". In fact, it seems to be quite well-made, and stable. In addition, it's very adjustable in orientation, light intensity, and color, whereas my old lamp had just three intensity settings and no color adjustment. The remote control is also an advantage.So, if you're thinking about this light, my suggestion would be to give it a try.

I love this Ricial Light Therapy Lamp.It’s been a while since I had access to a light therapy lamp and I had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed the technology and how it helped me with SAD.However , the Light Therapy Lamps I remember used to be so ugly and cumbersome to move around.Not anymore..I couldn’t be happier with this choice !This lamp comes completely assembled, simply install the included batteries into the remote , plug and read the manual. I have been using it for 7 days in a row , slowly getting used to light therapy sessions again.It couldn’t be easier , this lamp takes all the guesswork out . I love that the remote has marked buttons, I love to turn on the morning light ( coffee icon ) and enjoy the orange light to imitate sunrise and sunset, there is a button with a book that’s perfect for reading , a setting for working on the computer, a setting for gaming and a timer that lets me set in increments of 10 mins up to an hour .The manual has a lot of information, and there is lots more info on the net about how to get the most benefits out of the UV - free full spectrum light therapy lamp.Another awesome feature is that this lamp looks so unique.Nobody would ever think this is a therapeutic device.It looks more like a tablet with a stand.It works , it so works!No need to sit close to this one , it states to make sure you look into the direction , the reason being that the light needs to enter your eyes as explained in the manual. I love ❤️ this Light Therapy Lamp so much , I recommend this to anyone who has trouble getting enough sun light during those dark days ahead but I will also update this review if this lamp gives me any trouble in the future.P.S. Comes in a handy box , perfect for gifting !
