Best Sketchers Ever!
These shoes are fantastic! I walk dogs part time and as you can imagine, that's going to be taking me on and off all sorts of terrain, be it here in a big city on sidewalks, gravel, asphalt, slippery surfaces and rough ones too. Finished floors or wooden decks, marble or resin, doesn't matter, these shoes offer the perfect grip and are comfortable and cushioned very well. The laces are made for durability, and the fit is absolutely perfect for being a "relaxed fit shoe". There are even some very well planned bands at the heel that will let you pull them on easier without impacting the fit of the shoe or becoming loose and a hazard. Get these shoes if you're a busy person and do a lot of activity. Even if you're not, get them anyway, you'll love them!

The Goodyear shoe tread/sole is really nice. Fit feet / X-Wide |* Update: Insoles aren't removable *
I like the goodyear tread/sole a lot, My previous Skechers shoes/sneakers also has goodyear tread/sole on the bottom, but I Don't think they sell those ones anymore, I Couldn't find them. These are a good replacement, Previous ones were still in ok shape, but where I'd put my foot in the shoe there was some degrading and damage over time from putting my foot in (and I'm pretty careful about it not smooshing/crushing the back portion) - they lasted me a long time. Then on to these ones "Skechers mens John Deere Equalizer 5.0 Trail Harvester Lace Up" - They're great, it feels like the back portion where you put your foot in, the heel area is extra supported compared to my previous ones.* EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS SLIP-IN's - I would not treat them like you can just slip your feet in, Just put them on normally, (The regular way) - they will last longer. I Think if you want to slip them on you can still do that but maybe on an angle with you foot as to not f- up the back section-support of the shoe. ..maybe this doesn't apply if you have small feet or non-wide feet, idk.The tread/sole seems great, I've only worn them for a bit, so this is not a 'owned for a long time' review. It does feel like they're gripping the (Carpeted) stairs better going up noticeable, likely from the design shape of the grips on the bottom, and maybe because they're just new and not as worn. - but if you look at the pics it does look like the bottom sole design is good for gripping and holding onto whatever you're stepping on in that direction. They're also comfortable for me in X-WIDE. Have not tested with custom insoles yet. They should fit. (*update @ bottom, TL:DR = Insoles are not removable)..Wait for sales.Hope this helps, check these sneakers/shoes out.-------------------hello, - * update:-------------------I Tried to update my review before, but it probly was rejected for some reason.I'll keep this short / shorter in my update.= The insoles are not removable, I contacted Skechers official site / chat support box, They let me know they're not removable. I had already started to remove one of the insoles, mangled / damaged the insole so that's useless now. I managed to get most of the insole out of both shoes with determination and some scrapping with a tool.-- In the end I guess it's my fault, I Think per Skechers, you're supposed to assume the insoles aren't removable unless other wise stated. From now on I will contact Skechers to confirm if the insoles are removable to be 100% sure and have the facts. I use custom insoles for my feet / shoes / sneakers, because I have flat feet / zero arch, and I need proper support to not feel as much foot pain walking.-------------------------------------5 Star - Switched to 4 Star. - Still a great shoe, Just wish they made the insoles removable(Not glued in/stuck)-------------------------------------Amazon, please accept my review so some others now know the insoles aren't removable.Take care, and good luck with your shoes.
