TC41 2K 3MP Pan/Tilt Outdoor Security Camera CCTV Camera 360°View

I’ve had a couple of different cameras over the years and this is by far the easiest to set up, install and use. Set it up on the floor and then installed. It took no longer than 20 minutes from opening the box to being in position and working. The picture quality is excellent during the day, I’ve only received the item today so night time will have to check the quality but I’m pretty confident. Overall for the cost I think this is excellent value and would definitely recommend

This a a replacement of our old out of date cameras, the visual is absolutely amazing, very good value for money too,playback is excellent quality and quick the WiFi strength is amazing ours is 3 out of 4 bars at approx 40 foot distance, this is absolutely perfect for our needs, so good we've ordered a 2nd one for the front of our house.

Used at the back of our garden in the corner to see behind a mancave & shed & back alone the garden wall & fence, our 1yr old cats are exploring & we know they like to venture out of sight, the camera also shows when other cats have come in the garden by the wall at the back.I made a wooden top cover for it to reduce any water getting into it & keep it in good condition as it’s at a difficult place to get to, hence needing this much valued camera, we’ve several TAPO cameras around our house & in the mancave to watch my 3D printer & another to watch my mobility scooter & smoke alarm to warn us if they hear a baby crying noise or cats screaming 🙀TAPO are very reliable & easy to set & use, highly recommended for everywhere in the house at a great price for their performance at recording everything that moves!

I bought this camera to replace an old 720p camera we use to see what wildlife passes through our garden at night. The best thing about this camera is it’s value for money, the image quality is great and the camera has some brilliant features, such as two way audio (which is far better than I expected it to be!). So far so good…..What’s not so good on this camera is it’s motion detection systems. With or without motion zones set (and even setting the camera to its lowest sensitivity setting) pretty much everything triggers an alert. Rain and fog at night being the biggest problems for us so far. To be honest it’s so bad that the option is pretty much useless if you plan on using this camera outdoors. One solution I thought might help would be the person detection option, which isn’t standard with the camera as it requires a subscription to Tapo Care. However during a free trial I have sound it to be no better - cats, cars and rain all trigger many person alerts so it’s not with paying for Tapo Care unless you really need online storage. TP Link seem well aware of the problems with motion alerts, on their forum they are promising firmware updates in the future, but until they come don’t expect great things in regards to motion detection and alerts. This is a real shame as there are some interesting options, such as line crossing detection (I’m guessing for paths and driveways) which are available without Tapo Care so could be really good if TP Link deliver on the promised updates.One thing which is a mixed bag is the Tapo app, overall I like it and it’s very easy to use. Setting up a device takes a few minutes at most, but again it’s little things you expect to be part of the app which aren’t. We quite a few Tapo bulbs & plugs etc but at present there is no way to link these devices to the camera. I expected that a motion detection on the camera would be able to turn on a light etc for a set amount of time but no this isn’t possible. Once again TP Link say there are updates coming in future firmware releases but as of writing this review it’s not possible to link an the camera to other Tapo devices (although given how bad the motion detection alerts are this is maybe not a bad thing!!).Overall though I was still really impressed with the build quality, image quality and price of the cameras. So much so I ended up buying three in total, although only as we can get by ok without the motion alerts. If you don’t specifically need them this is a really good camera, however if these are crucial for your intended use I’d be tempted to look elsewhere.

Tapo C545D security camera: I’ve been pleased with this camera having the fixed lens and the movable one is a good idea, it’s a nice clear picture on both with the moveable bottom camera moving quickly round if the fixed camera sensors a human, vehicles or pets depending on what you set it on, it tracks this movement until out of sight, you can set zones where you want this detection to take place which works well with not many false alarms, it connects to wifi very easily also if you use the micro sd card to store the footage it pays to get one that is meant for video cameras (which normally are the dearer ones) I stream the footage to an old ipad I have so it’s streaming live all day long. This camera has an Ethernet connection on the power cable and both need to be kept dry, so if your chosen location can’t accommodate that and the wire is going through a wall it will need to be big enough to get both these connections through…I think this camera is very good and would recommend it.

I have several Tapo cameras and they all work perfectly through the app. Not a single drop of camera connection. I have bought other brands before and you have lots of adverts on the app and also different apps for different cameras. I bought this TC 41 as I already had 2 of the TC40 ones and for a couple of pounds more I thought I may as well get the upgraded version. To be honest I do not see much difference between the resolution on TC40 and TC41 but may as well get the newer version for the sake of 2 extra pounds. Set up is fantastically easy through the Tapo app, no subscription as it records directly to the sd card. Now manage all 4 cameras and doorbell through one app! Bonus...Also works with alexa so just have to say "alexa show drive", or garden etc and it will pop up on the TV if you have a firestick. (If you have the TV on,,obviously).

The camera quality is very good with clear 2K video both day and night. The pan and tilt functions work smoothly and the motion detection is accurate. Easy to set up with the Tapo app and the WiFi connection has been stable. Great value for the features included.

Ordered these for home security, only fitted one camera which was installed by an electrician friend. Connecting it to my phone and WiFi took a bit of a learning curve but managed to set it up ok. Day and night picture quality is very clear and it records everything really well.The only issues I have are sensitivity as despite using the settings to lower movement sensitivity and specify area, the camera picks up on tiny things like leaf and moth movement! It cannot seem to differentiate between a fox and a person so the notifications can be a nightmare if there is a windy day or lots of wildlife traffic in the garden.It would also be handy if the camera had a wider angle and if the view could be adjusted on the app. The camera microphone is very sensitive so picks up sound well, but somewhat noisy when it rains due to being close to a gutter!The second camera will be installed soon so looking forward to seeing a wider view of the property.Otherwise very happy with the camera and the Tapo app which allows other products in their range to be connected via WiFi and set up to suit the locations. I also have their doorbell and internal camera so can view and save footage on a card or to the cloud.

The camer ais very good.. Loved this product from Tapo and Amazon . One problem with this is the rotating came lens doesnt cover wide area compared to single cameras versions. The wide angle cam is very good.
