TPI 725L Pocket Gas Sniffer with Flexi-neck

Amazing bit of kit that probably just saved the life of my family and myself. Had an intermittent gas leak that nobody else could smell as it was so small and infrequent and in a place it should not be. Bought this to put my mind at rest.First few times I tried everything was fine, however a few days ago I got the smell and tried it out. Have to say the batteries were dead in under a month but once changed and calibrated again it found the leak and the gas board were called. Turns out we had a leak in the main pipe between the hob (kitchen) and the fire (lounge).I have no hesitation in recommending this product - it worked perfectly, and I even got it on a warehouse deal. Probably the best money I have ever spent.

Ok but can't witch off with out removing battery..

I had two of these and they were both great for finding faults but both broke within weeks. The unit would power up sepf test and awitch off.
