Il Makiage Woke Up Like This Flawless Liquid Foundation, Full Coverage, Matte Finish, 30 ml, Shade 035

I purchased the Il Makiage, Woke Up Like This, base foundation #035. The color was a perfect match to my skin tone. I used a medium flat makeup brush to apply, and it went on smoothly and evenly with a matte finish. I used a finishing powder to set the foundation, but it really isn't necessary, as it dries quickly. It did not feel thick or heavy at all and still gave great coverage. It will not hide or minimize wrinkles, but it will also not emphasize them either. I really love the product and my skin feels great and the foundation lasts all day. I wouldn't worry about the shade number, as long as you stay in the light, medium or dark categories, depending on your skin tone. I would highly recommend this product.

Ads for this makeup kept popping up in my social media feeds. I finally decided to give it a try. I almost felt like I was just overwhelmed by the hype of the constant social media ads. It's a little more expensive than brands I normally buy, so I was pretty nervous. This is really nice makeup! I am 66 years old and some other foundations I've tried settle into creases and wrinkles. I This makeup goes on smoothly and seems to skim over those creases and wrinkles. The brand has so many shades to choose from. The one that I selected was perfect. I will definitely be purchasing this product again. I also plan to try other products from tis brand.

This is a good product, applies evenly and looks great, however, for those of us who have a tendency to break out with acne, unfortunately it is not non-comedogenic. I broke out after one day of use. Too bad because it does look great!

I returned this after applying foundation to my face. I took the quiz for the correct match. Do not get caught up in the hype or ads regarding this makeup. 1. Applied by sponge to my face. Went on easy until it dried. After it dried it seem to stick to every pore in my face. When I say dry, my look (Face)was Chalky. 2. Decided to apply with Brush. After foundation dried ,it just stuck on my face and did not feel natural. 3. After the first two times, I thought, let’s put this on lightly. So I did, and my face was blotchy in some areas (the foundation). So I returned the product. So I’ve learned not to believe all of the hype of the IL MAKIAGE products and the videos of people who say they use this and look so glamorous after using it.

I have been using this foundation for a few months and I love it!! I did the color matching on their website and was so impressed how accurate it matched my skin tone. It is matte finish so powder is not necessary.
