I love DataRoad's incredibly thin cases, but they of course don't come with magnets. My iPhone's magnet sort of works through the case, but not generally well enough—that's where this comes in.The applicator is great. I've used other applicators that rely on sticking a plastic bracket into the charging port on my phone, and this is superior (not least because it actually more or less aligns itself!), centering itself slightly better.The adhesive is great, too. I have some accessories with strong pull, like a third-party wallet and large magnetic battery, and neither can make this ring budge.I wish it was a LITTLE cheaper, particularly because the cases I love so much do unfortunately need replacement with some frequency. But as far as add-on magnetic rings go, this is the best one I've used, and does a good job at justifying its cost.

Great buy! Put it on my UAG Non-Magsafe, granted there's tiny tiny gaps, but the best bit is I wanted a UAG Pathfinder White Magsafe Case but didn't have the funds to get the Magsafe one, so I jury rigged the UAG Case & it works so so well! Holds on also!

Strong magnet and it looks good on my case. But the adjuster took does not line up the magnet with the wireless charging coil in the phone. The adjuster tool should be updated to place the magnet more center with the G on the back of the pixel. Sadly, I do not think I can remove it without damaging the magnet. My real rating is a 2.5.Update: I was able to lift the magnet without bending or damaging it. It reapplied with no issues. If you find you need to adjust the alignment please do so gently.

It holds my magsafe card holder and also its very stong magnetic. I loved it and I'm gonna buy another one for other case. It worth it👍

As advertised. Magnet is very strong and seems to stick directly to my Pixel 7 very strongly. 3M adhesive is really good.

Pixel 8 ProBastmei caseI watched the "how to" video using the QR code on the application template. I even cleaned the case and phone with alcohol before applying, yes I let it dry. Using the application template I centered the ring on the back of the case. Pressed repeatedly on the areas noted on the application tool and applied pressure for over 30 secs. Slowed peeled off the template and the ring did not stick. Before completely removing I tried again with no luck. I then tried to apply directly to the phone. After multiple tries it didn't work. I peeled the ring off the template and manually applied to the phone and placed my case over it. It's working, but not as expected.Fyi. I purchased this to replace a less expensive magsafe ring that was simply a metal ring with a white sticker over it. It worked great but caused my phone to get excessively hot when wirelessly charging. It's not as thick as this Spigen ring and isn't noticeable as I installed iton the inside of the exact same case that I've applied this Spigen ring to. The Spigen ring does not cause as much heat when wirelessly charging.
