EDIT 10/28: I still love my bed but I’m dropping it down to 4 star. Due to the couple of issues we ran across while putting it together (see below) and because it has become quite creaky. It doesn’t seem to be the metal pieces or the slats, I think it’s just the wood since it’s not the highest quality. I mostly love the look of the bed but the quality brings my rating down.Original review: I was nervous about taking a chance on a bed without reviews, but after looking at what felt like every single bed frame on the internet my mind kept coming back to this one. I’m so glad I took the chance because it’s beautiful! It fits our space perfectly and I love how it looks. I will say It was not the easiest to put together and took my husband and I about 4 hours but it was totally worth it. My only complaints are there were 2 places where the pre drilled holes were not threaded so we could not get the provided screws in and some of the wood pieces feel thin. The screws were almost too long for the side pieces so I wish the wood was thicker which would add to the overall durability as well. So far it does not squeak, just makes soft wood creaking sounds sometimes which seems normal for a solid wood bed. Overall I’m really happy and hope it lasts us a long time without any issues.

It’s not very steady, the connections doesn’t fit always, needs two people to assemble it, it took us more than 4hours.

Bought this for our newly minted guest room, as we liked the look and the price was right. After assembling (a reasonably easy though time-consuming process), we realized the wrong size had been sent in error. Very impressed with how easy it was to right that wrong, as the replacement correct size arrived even faster than the original.Now, fit and finish is definitely not perfect. There's maybe a gap here and there of a few millimeters that's perfectly flush on the other side. There may be a slight warp to a board or two. But taking price into account, this is a SOLID four-star review. You want something closer to perfection, you will not find it at this price. It looks good on the whole and supports a bed, which is perfect for us!
