The media could not be loaded. Love this, it may have been the easiest thing I have ever and I mean EVER put together! It’s the perfect size. Comes with a mat (I’m going to buy additional ones) but this is EXACTLY what I need for my dogs litter!

It is 4 squares and 2 sliding doors but it works. Very roomy. My dog is 10lbs and she has plenty of room. This has no floor to it. So you may want to lay towels under it before the plastic lined cover under it.For the cost I made the best choice!

Update, while the whelping box worked well, it does not hold up long term. I’m using this for the second litter and she’s only been in it a few days. My girls are not rough, but just laying down against the sides and stretching a little as she adjusts caused the corner at the joint to separate as seen in the picture. I had noticed it was loose when putting it together. It’s an easy repair with glue, but this whelping box is not priced for diy repairs.This whelping box was very self explanatory to put together. The sides are solid. The sliding doors are a little thinner, but will last for a long time and would be easy to replace in years to come. While everything is secure; the design is not tight and allows the sides to move so the whole whelping box can shift out of place. It was more of an annoyance than a problem. The whelping box was fairly easy to wipe clean, but it's not a glossy finish. I feel like a glossy finish would be noticeably easier to clean.This whelping box is well made over all. My girl was 55 lbs and it fit her perfectly.

Based on the size of the box, I have to keep it in doors to keep an eye out so the puppies don’t escape. The whelping box was easy to set up, easy to move, and is a good size for four puppies. Any more than four would be a challenge. The whelping box is made of solid quality materials and looks really good in my living room. This whelping box was a good value for the size and will get many more uses out of it. I like the absorbent pad as the litter likes to make a mess and the pad keeps my wood floors clean. I removed the middle fence so there was more room to move around. I uses this whelping box for new litters but others can use it for smaller dogs too. It is made for dogs, not for litters and it is functional enough for larger dogs. My new litters don’t have a problem with the size but larger dogs could have issues

I got this whelping pen for future use as I wanted my dog to get comfortable with the pen itself long before puppies come into the household. I’d like to specify that our dog is an akc show dog not a random decision or a breeder.The pen is pretty straight forward assembly and ran us about 15 minutes. The size is great for my little breed and offers exactly what we wanted. One side is for potty and one side for sleep. Overall appearance is good quality and should stay that way over time as well since she is a small dog and not destructive. I could see larger puppies attempting to chew the pen but as long as that’s curbed early it should last a very long time.It’sa good size and our girl loves it already and knows that her safe space. She can get over the side for entry and exit while I’m positive puppies would not especially during the first few weeks.

We just constructed the YITAHOME Whelping Box since we don’t have puppies at the moment, but I can confidently say that it is easy to construct. There are no nails or screws. Each of the panels fits into a corner piece which is slotted. It can be done with one person though it’s definitely easier with two. It takes about 15 minutes to put together.It’s very nice and clean looking in all white. It isn’t incredibly heavy duty, it’s made of white particle board, but it seems strong enough for a bunch of puppies. It’s large too which is great though it isn’t necessarily something you want to keep constructed when you don’t need it. Which makes the no nail or screw attachment system so much nicer since it is as easy to deconstruct as construct.There is a section for the puppies to nurse and a separate section for the mom to get away. The doorways can be opened or closed. One section has slats instead of solid pieces which is nice. It feels like a house with a garden or a porch. It also comes with a pad for the bottom of one section. There is no actual floor.It is designed as a whelping box but would also be perfect as a play area for a small dog, rabbit or Guinea pig. I’m very impressed with it.
