Very good quality and easy to apply
I work at a window factory in town. I bought the stuff for my brother's house after he was telling me about drafts and I took a look. Glad I know how to measure. It's actually really easy to apply and I use a flathead screwdriver. Popped about 10 of the zigzag in the window, slid it all the way down to the base of the window, and made sure I just had it lined up and kept popping it in. It's actually really easy but in the very beginning part you have to make sure that after you have it slid all the way down at the base you don't pull it up because you want to have coverage all the way. Very good quality and I love the fact that it's got that plastic strip I don't even know what you call it saying in the middle of the very thick dense brush. Definitely worth your money and time.

Pile that helps with dust
If you have windows with t-slot seals and are noticing an uptick of dust, especially around the sill and locks of your windows, this should where you go. This is super easy to work with. My only complaint is on occasion there are minor cut issues so you need to pick where the machine didn’t cut the slots out. Very useful product.

Super easy and incredibly beneficial.
I've done all 15 windows in my house. I bought a house but noticed a draft and excessive dust on the some window sills. One of my problems was most pronounced when we had a really rainy spring and the bug population exploded. Luckily, The bugs stayed near the windows and didn't spread much into the house. While I was figuring out this problem out I noticed gaps not only in the weather stripping but in the frames themselves. So I would recommend buying some window/outdoor sealing caulk when you purchase this felt pile if you notice some of your windows have light coming in from areas where the weather stripping doesn't come in contact. My love for this zipper style is that you can put it into a track without taking apart the frame of your windows. You do need a roller tool like a screen tool but without one you can still do the job with a standard screwdriver but preferably a scraper of some kind to help push the zipper track into place from the side. Tip for removing old pile weather stripping is to get a utility knife or blade that you cut down the track. It cuts the old backing and you can pull it out with pliers in a couple of pieces. Just make sure your blade has a good tip or edge. Otherwise, you will make multiple passes to break through/weaken that backing. Get a strong standard screwdriver if your old felt pile strips were peened into the track to stay in place. I say a standard but if you have a fine tipped pry bar that will do as well to help form/bend the metal track to release the old felt pile in those areas. Just make sure that the strip has enough friction that when you operate the window normally it doesn't slide the new felt pile out of place. The difference this has made in the few rooms where I noticed a draft or temperature difference is incredible. All the rooms on the west facing side have had considerable less dust in the frame/sill(The area I live, most of the wind comes from the west). Also, the temperatures in those rooms stabilized with the rest of the house instead of going into the extreme. This roll was more than enough to replace the weather stripping in all the windows in my house. I'm sure some didn't need it but this helps establish a new base line and prevent future issues with a very small amount of money invested along with a small amount of my time to become better acquainted with my home and its fixtures and help make my home more efficient.

Easy to install and does the job
The zipper tooth edge design makes it much easier to install in hard to access or tight-fit areas. I had some stubborn sections on the bottom of a window where it wouldn't slide in and the zippered edge allowed me to just snap the weatherstrip into the slot with a flathead screw driver.

Nice tight seal
Easy to installed, you do need screen rolling tool for easy installation.

Worked like a charm
While other neighbors are replacing vinyl windows in 20 year old houses I decided to try something different. The window panes and frames were in great condition but the weather-strips were compressed and the fins in the middle of the weather-strip were cracked. It was easy to get the single hung window out of the frame, sat it on a bed, as to not damage the glass. The bottom seal just slid out and so did one of these strips. The top and the other side was removed using a very small screwdriver since there were no openings at the ends. Slid the one side in and small wire cutters to trim it. The top and other side I slid one edge in and used a screen roller to insert the other side and trimmed the end with a utility knife. I also purchased the lower bulb seal and slid in easily. Before replacing your windows try this first. I replaced the strips on 12 windows for under $100.00 vs thousands for windows.

Not usable due to twist in the roll
The product is twisted on the roll making it impossible to run down a straight line. It has "taken shape" of the spool causing it to coil like wire with little to no pliability. I say try another product if your working on storm windows. They are called Obsolete today I have been told. Good Luck! This is a late review, as I got this in 2016 but I kept it inside out of the heat and even in 2016 it had the same problem. I just tossed the roll in the dump, and thought I'd add my .02 on this product.
