Q: Does the electro power brush clean low pile carpet better than the turbo brush?

The turbo brush works best on low cut pile carpets. It is air driven and the floating roller brush will adjust on the carpet height. The electro power brush is electronically driven with a five level height adjustment suitable for low to high pile and plush carpets. This would be suitable if you have multiple styles of flooring in your home because you can turn the brush roll off. The turbo brush will work but the electro power brush will deep clean your carpet better.

Q: I prefer to carry vacuum rather than drag it behind me. Does Pure work properly in carry position? Is handle comfortable?

yes but it is heavy if you try to use it and carry at the same time. I pick it up to put it where I need it like on the bed or couch to clean ceiling fans tops of curtains. The only draw back on this vacuum is the push up cleaning tool on the end of the wand. It broke after one year and they would not replace it. I believe this is a flaw and bad design. I took it off and I am using a brush attachment from a different vacuum.

Q: I've never used a bagless vacuum. How easy is it to empty the debris from this machine? Is there a problem with static or getting all the debris out?

It's very easy to get the debris out: since one usually takes care of wet messes by other means, one always vacuums dry things, e.g., dust and pet hair. Since the walls of the container are hard plastic, everything usually just falls out without sticking. My experience is that nothing sticks to the walls of the container. In fact, I've found the walls of bags to hold more dust than the walls of a hard plastic container. And with a hard plastic container, you can actually wipe it clean if you are really worried. The latter is much harder with a bag.
