Fantastic!
Incredible ‘floating’ effect on the surface. Picture is wonderful - true blacks, with easy adjustments if necessary. Cinema quality sound. Remote is a breeze, with easy ‘talk to the tv’ option. Putting together was a two-person job but easy enough. Excited that I can use my Curzon Home Cinema, as well as so many other ways to watch programmes and films. A fantastic purchase, well worth it.

Prefect but fragile - read this before lifting...
Amazing picture. LG claims perfect colour and they are probably right... As the "E" model it had larger speakers than the C and I feel the sound is good enough for a lounge without a sound bar. The TV always starts at a low volume (15-20) but can go up to 100 - never gone near there...My only concern is that its very fragile - I broke this one after 1 hour and had to get it replaced via my house insurance. The E version is basically one plate of glass which reaches the bottom of the stand which means there is no space to get fingers underneath the screen to lift it. There is a good way to lift the TV which requires "ZERO" pressure on the screen. You have to put one hand under the speaker unit at the back and another hand with an open palm at the front of the screen to steady it - two people are mandatory. I picked it up once with the thin foam strip on the edges and it survived. I moved it 1 hour later after removing the foam strip and cracked the screen killing the unit. Would not even start up.Honestly, while it comes with a stand, its really hard to believe this TV can be anywhere but on the wall if you have any children or animals around. Its very pretty and "one pain of glass" but must be well protected.

Panel is Faulty
The media could not be loaded. TV is covered under warranty an Amazon won't exchange it either. Make sure you return it if the panel is faulty straight away. Was told by Amazon they would refund me but they won't now

Absolutely love it
The TV is absolutely stunning. I almost bought a Sony Bravia in a store until I saw this one. The store had sold out, so I bought from Amazon. Absolutely stunning picture (even my wife can tell the difference!) and the Dolby Atmos sound is brilliant. The only down side is that the volume isn't overly loud with Dolby Atmos so it's not quite the cinema experience, but close. Without Dolby Atmos, the volume is very loud.

I would look at Sony or Panasonic oled tvs
It’s going back to amazon consider it last year high end oled tv out there had some issues told amazon the reason why I am return it sound is very bad vibration when turning it up is very bad I find the picture really bad On my eyes my wife said the same even at the price I paid for it I wouldn’t buy it considering it was over £2000 when it first came out I think I will look at other oled manufacturers before considering LG but they our the only manufacturers of oled TVs panels but I think it will have to be Panasonic or Sony in the future because what Panasonic have done with the GZ 2000 is custom the panel from LG and the Sony AG9 as a better processing much better picture Quality what I seen so I be look to buy one all the others

Excellent TV - I Wish I’d Bought It Sooner.
The picture quality on this TV is simply stunning. I’ve read reviews stating that it’s not as bright as LED. Coming from an LED I was a little apprehensive, however, in my opinion this is twoddle. It’s brighter than my old LED (which was only 2 years old), and the black levels are awesome.

Fantastic 4K picture quality, but clunky interface
The OLED panel picture quality is stunning when fed a 4K source such as Amazon Prime. The built in sound bar produces clearer speech and deeper base than typical speakers. The floating on glass design is very attractive. There are only a couple of negatives, one personal taste, the other more fundamental. In my view the "magic remote" is a gimmick. The cursor interface is simply less effective than using the conventional buttons, but the Google Assistant voice control is useful. The more fundamental failing is the ease of switching between Freeview and Freesat tuners for live TV. We live in an area where certain Freeview channels are unavailable or weak signals, so often switch between the two. On this TV this is extremely clunky, and requires going into settings each time and then several menus subsequently. The only short cut is to program the Quick Access buttons for your favourite channels. Moreover, the Freesat menu simply does not function properly, showing all the channels but not allowing access via the menu. Instead you have to input the channels number, or use the channel up and down buttons. Hardly slick.

LG 55OLED E8
This TV produces one of the best pictures you will find. Easy to use remote control and very intuitive apps. You will not find a better television, and at this price it can not be betten.
