There wasn't one available and it's definitely necessary. Mine failed at 12.5/13 months and I got no help from the company. Save your money and get a different product.

how reliable are these? I had a smaller version by another company it failed in a few months?

I've gone through 3 units in just over 2 years. The first two lasted about a year each. the last one has lasted just under 3 months and is making a grinding noise from the compressor. This is the only countertop version that makes square ice, not bullets. I'm not throwing away another $150 to replace this one. Time for bullets.
