Great laptop
I've brought this for a friend for her birthday and she loves it. I ask her all the time if there's anything wrong with it, but she has no complaints. I have the 15 inch, 1tb version and have no issues.

Good machine. Dishonest seller.
Overall I’m happy with my surface book 2. It is a great machine capable of doing everything I need however upon receiving this from perfect trading inc. I noticed this was a used product according to the warranty. It is not okay to sell things as “new” when they are not. They also refused to give me a discount on the used device.

Nice Surface Book but...
Very nice computer. Touch screen is nice, the computer is just as expected and build quality is there. My problem is with the battery. I feel like I either got a display or something is wrong with the battery. It feels like it really never gets to 100% and it's really hard to get it there too. Also from 100% draining it drops really fast till it gets to maybe around 80% and it'd start draining normally. It's annoying as hell

Do not buy from this Seller. Misrepresented products.
I purchased a brand new surface book 2 from Perfect Trading. All seemed well until the screen started yellowing and breaking down. I approached Microsoft for a warranty repair and they told me that the computer I was sold by Perfect Trading was actually a returned/refurbished device and therefore wasn't covered on the warranty. Perfect Trading explicitly stated that this was a brand new device (it's written directly on the order invoice). I've tried to contact them but received no response. I've spent $2200 on a broken computer that no one will take responsibility for. The worst business practices I've had the pleasure of experiencing in years.

A good laptop with the additonal functionality of a tablet and a gaming desktop
I bought this as an upgrade to my 2013 MacBook Air 13" and as an alternative to a new MacBook Pro. It's a couple pounds heavier than my Air, but a lot more capable... and it weighs about what the Air plus my Samsung tablet weighed, but that's one less device and one less charger to bring. I've also replaced my desktop by using a docking station with an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse, so now I only need one work computer. I left Windows back in 2009 because I was tired of dealing with Windows updates, fixes, etc., but Apple has really dropped the ball since Jobs' death, and I don't like having to buy expensive dongles for monitors, USB devlces, SD cards from my cameras, etc. If you need a powerful laptop for gaming and/or software development, you travel and get tired of carrying a tablet and a laptop, need to access SD cards or external devices in the field... then this is a great solution.

Book 2 has it all
Best all in one laptop. Hard keypad with lights, usb-c, Microsoft port for docking stations on different locations, powerful (processing ad storage), great screen quality 13.5", detachable and flippable. Durable material.

Almost brilliant - but why so many Windows software glitches?
The concept is brilliant - removable tablet with gorgeous screen, beautifully engineered base and keyboard - but flawed by software glitches right out of the box. A Microsoft machine using Windows should work like a dream but it doesn't. The CTRL key sticks. Apparently randomly, some keys on the key board work, some don't. The tablet dies for no apparent reason and then recovers. With the time the gremlins have been resolved, and it is one brilliant machine, but not without a lot of early angst. The surface pen works well with surprising 'pencil-like' touch and effect. The Surface Book 2 i7 16 512 is like an Italian sports car, fantastic experience when it is all working, but be prepared for some idiosyncrasies.
