Cool Hand 1911 grips are actually really cool! They have a great color, and style to them. They are designed for normal government model 1911's without a magwell. These grips are beautiful, smooth and bright. They are a good upgrade to standard basic grips and make the firearm not only look better, but feel better in the hand. These grips are an affordable upgrade that will make a difference if any values the look and feel of their firearm as well as looking for better stability control.The grips come with the included packet of screws and wrench needed to construct the grips securely on the firearm, making life simple for all of any experience level.

The Cool Hand 1911 grips are not only durable, but also make your gun truly shine. The grips are made a durable jade green polymer and polish until they shine. The grips come with 4 gold screws and a turn key tool to install the grips. The grips are easy to install with just a few turns of a screw. The gold colored screws and the green handles together is a perfect match. The grips stayed in place while using the gun at the range and they clean up easy. These grips are perfect if you want to make your gun really stand out from others.

Wish I could share pics of these easy to install grips. If anyone has a Rock Island 1911 you know how plain Jane these platforms look. These Cool Hand grips add a level of detail not available with stock grips. These grips are slick, therefore if you have problems handling a .45, or in my case 10mm, I’d stay away for functionality on a case by case basis. I absolutely love the look and the fit was perfect. The brass hardware was an added bonus really making the grips pop. They’re made of a strong pvc or something similar and should last forever.

Love the grips, they are clearly made from a polymer and so a little slick, but they look so good on my Kimber compact 1911. To be fair, when I got them, I was thinking i would use them on my new colt 1911 and somehow did not realize they were for a compact.Either way, it all worked out and I love the way they look on my Kimber!Highly Recommended!

If you like how these look in photos then you're going to like them even better in person. The color and pattern on my set is lovely. They're vibrant and attention getting. They fit my steel full-size government perfectly with no issues. I did use my own black screws because the included gold ones didn't really look right on my setup. If you have an extended safety, ambi-safety or extended slide stop then you might have to notch these and I'm not sure how that would go because they feel like plastic.That leads me to my sole gripe. They don't feel as expensive as they cost. I let a buddy hold them and asked what he thought they were selling for. He guessed $10-$15 and that's where I think they should be priced.

I'd have given them more stars, but the grips arrived scuffed and that was disappointing. I was able to polish the scuffs out using metal polish, but they shouldn't have arrived in that condition in the first place. That being said, they did fit very nicely and appeared to be crafted out of good materials.

While I am not a fan of smooth grips, these are so pretty I will deal with it. Not a traditional color that you would find on most 1911's, this jade green color really pops and adds a cool touch of flare to your hand held lead dispenser. Grips are made well and have a high polish to them. They fit on my full size without issue. The included screws look and feel to be of good quality and with the addition of O-rings and wrench made the install a snap. A spare O-ring and screw are included should you lose one in the process of putting these on.The grips feel good in the hand, filling the palms well. I haven't had a trip to the range yet, but I will report back if anything out of the ordinary occurs. A+ for looks!
