I’ve just had it a day, but overall I’m please with this for the price!Very easy setup! And clear quality picture. The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t set up the device on multiple accounts. So if my husband logs in, it kicks me off on my phone. So we have to log back in. Not sure if I can get around this, but hoping we can!

The APP downloaded quickly and is fully functional. The picture quality is true HD at 1080p so you get crystal clear videos though the APP. Being able to monitor my kids while we are away from home is very satisfying. The camera is fully controlled via my phone and I am able to take pictures, save pictures, receive notifications etc.It has an intercom feature so you can speak as well as listen, so I can do things downstairs while my daughter is having a nap upstairs, I can then hear and talk to her when she wakes up.Fantastic camera!!

I gave this camera four stars for its indoor capabilities and it is described as an indoor/baby monitor camera. For that it works great. The picture is clear, I never had any problems with the app or it not connecting to my wifi. One star removed for the not so great IR capabilities. It only has one IR light and that was not strong enough to see me (could barely make out that someone, me, was there) in a pitch black garage with the camera only 10 feet away. I would say the range is about 5 or 6 feet in complete darkness. It does do pretty well with lower light levels so if there is even just a little bit of ambient light, it will probably be fine.I have this in my garage (not exactly what this is prescribed for) and so far it has survived September to now with Phoenix heat and all and still going strong. It does get warm, not quite hot to the touch so I am worried how this "extreme" environment will affect its longevity. The picture is fine with the light available in the garage (either 2 60 watt bulbs from the garage opener or a 4-bulb fluorescent overhead light).It does not do well at all with outdoor (sunny/bright) levels of light. When garage door opens, the video is mostly washed out, it is so overexposed. It appears to be fixed aperture. It also did not do well when set in a window looking outside. Same issue. It just cannot stop down to get a decently exposed video with levels of light experienced outside. If that is your use case then you should definitely shop around for another solution.As far as the app goes, it is serviceable. You can subscribe (for a fee) to a cloud account to see clips of video triggered by motion or sound detection. If you stick a micro SD card in it, you can still have access to your clips via the app for a period of time determined by the size of the card. Using the SD card, in continuously records in a loop, overwriting the oldest segment. I am getting about 10 days worth of capture before it overwrites the oldest footage with a 32GB card. It is a bit tedious to swipe the tape measure clock left and right trying to find a motion or sound detection event (indicated by a dimmer red vertical line on the time scale, see picture) then placing the indicator (bright red line) just before the event and waiting for event to happen depending on how accurately you placed the indicator. If you are reviewing many events often, this can get old fast. For the occasional review of an event, it is tolerable. It also depends on how frequently you have events. If you have a lot of event markers, it may be torture. For the garage, it is pretty much just when people are coming and going. The timeline starts at midnight for any day you select on the calendar icon so you may have to scroll a decent amount to get to where you want to go for the event you are looking for.Also, while you can remove the SD card to copy clips/footage to your computer, the file format is not "normal" like H264 or something like that. It is kind of a Chinese IP camera format or something. While I could get sort of get VLC Media Player to play some clips (I may have had to change the file extensions or something like that), there was no real navigation abilities and no sound. Also, the events are not really indicated in any way using VLC. Not recommended if you need access to the video files via your computer for editing or other purposes.One thing this camera is kind of cool to use for is to move around as needed. As long as it is for indoor applications you can move this indoors to wherever you need/want it for different reasons. I never had any problems with it automatically reconnecting to my wifi after unplugging it and moving it. It is only 2.4GHz wifi so keep that in mind.Overall, I would purchase this camera again for its described purpose and its good video quality (at least when viewed on a phone via the app) and price. Indoors only. One star deducted for so-so app, non-standard, pain-in-the-rear video file format and poor IR performance.

There is a feature, it’s sound detection and it will notify you, you can set either sound or motion detection, or both, I bought 2 and if they get more on here for same price I’m buying 2 more and have quite a few people I work with that want some, I waited to review because I needed to know if this is worth it, and it is so far, had my for about a week and still need to make adjustments for mid day use because it’s so bright it almost blurrs, same at night the reflection of the night vision messes with your view but looking into how to fix that, I don’t put mine outside but inside looking out so it doesn’t get ruined by weather or hellion little kids around our neighborhood, I’m hoping for Long Jevity of this product and have faith in it, when at work I can look in on my cameras at home, I have the ability to either talk through, listen through or both while anywhere my cellphone has either WiFi or data, it’s pretty friggin awesome so far and will post more as tome goes on, hope this helps along with the video I’ll send😘

Product worked great for about an hour....and then quality degraded significantly. Picture turned purple and purple static rain showed up everywhere. Switched from phone, to tablet, to computer....all same problem (clearly problem with camera). Should've listened to the one critical review that someone posted. Don't buy. Waste of time.....and no water did not get in (this is straight out of the box).update 7-12-18Company contacted me without me having to contact them. Apologized and stated that camera was probably damaged from shipping. Sent me a new camera for free and so far it works great! Communication with Aria (Company Rep) was phenomenal and shipping was fast! Will update in a few months to see if camera continues to be working great. Thanks again, Aria for all your help!

I got this to replace my camera in the yard. The picture quality at 1080p is pretty good and the setup and installation was easy. The motion sensor is also good for alerts. The only drawback with this camera is that in order to view the alerts, you have to subscribe to their cloud service. My old camera included free 5-second video clips from the alerts. Other than this, it’s a nicely built camera.

I am moving my baby into her own room and was looking for a camera I can use to see her at night but also a device I can use after . Baby monitors tend to be Low quality so I was looking for a different solotuon.I received this device with in 48 hours of purchasing . The package include the camera on the stand a charging cable , charging box and also screwed to hang the device if needed.Out of box to set up took less then 5 Mins. You simply download an app and register your account and then add the device . All I had to do is place my cell phone next to the camera and the app did all the work. The device talks to you when the steps are completed and with in Mins I was ready to go. The stand is very sturdy and easy to move around .The video quality is amazing !I’m so happy with this purchase I will probably buy a few more for other uses. I highly recommend this camera!!
