is there a flea treatment that last for 3 months

the beat flea treatment is via a vet it's called stronghold and the spray in the house must also be done at the same time as treating the pets

Ordered one for a cat, but received one for small dogs. Can I still use it on a cat?

No! Do not cross species on spot on - ever. Dogs n cats are so different this could be toxic and could possibly kill ur poor cat, please send it back for an exchange.
