Came in as expected, everything was working and has trash bags included (didn't realize). A tiny bit heavier than regular trash cans but I rather it be sturdy and dent free, than light and easily topple-overable.

I purchased this over 2 months ago. Great product. Holds a lot. Easy to change the liner. The pedal operation is solid. Absolutely no complaints or regrets.

This is nicely designed, and has two features that I really like: the lid can stay open if wanted, and it lowers with a slow, damped descent. The pedal mechanism works well, although I’m a bit concerned about the longevity of the mechanism, since it’s dependent on the type of plastic used in the linkage. This may not be a problem at all—something like a filled nylon would be very strong; there’s just no way of knowing.Visually, the stainless is a very “polished” brushed finish—it’s pretty reflective, and really shows wherever you touch it. So it’s gonna be hard to keep clean looking. I’m also concerned thec about the thinness of the steel used; it may be fine, but I think it’s going to dent easily, and with that shiny finish, even small surface mars will show.Like my headline says, I really want to give this 3 1/2 stars. In my rating system, 3 stars is “average” and 4 stars is something to be excited about (I do give 5 star reviews; something has to be really special, or perform way above its price range for that.) I think this is a better than average trash can, and priced fairly. I hope it stays nice looking for a reasonable time span though.
