Good looking jack, but could be better.
The only problem with this jack was it didn't come with a case to hold the jack and the handle was broken when delivered. Other than that, the jack so far is good. So far. This might change as I use the Jack and put wear and tare on it.

Great Emergency Hydraulic Jack!
I bought this hydraulic jack as an emergency jack because my car fell (tires were still on while I was getting hack stands ready) once from the worthless scissor jack that comes with the car and I want the case to keep the jack in the car. The Performance Tool 2.25 ton jack is more powerful and sturdier than scissor jacks especially in emergency situations where the ground may be not be perfectly flat. My observations so far are that while overall the jack looks solid it has some negative aspects as well. I'm not crazy about pumping the jack a dozen or more times to get to the desired height but this can be overlooked on an emergency jack. The handle fits loosely on the jack causing a lot of play and probably the reason why it takes so many pumps to lift the jack. I'm sure I can fit the end of the handle with a piece of metal pipe or something to thicken it and reduce the looseness while pumping. For me the jack is a solid 4 because it does what its supposed to do but its clear the manufacturer cut a couple of corners. My case arrived in good condition unlike some of the other people who bought it.Pros:- Has a case which is great for keeping the jack in the car for an emergency- It has a good weight to it and generally feels solid and powerful- It has a handle (you need to install it)- Has more power and height than many similar jacks within its class (this is a key reason why I bought it)Cons:- Handle fits loosely causing lots of play when pumping the jack- Takes a lot of pumps to raise the jack but this is somewhat expected at this class and price range- Some people complained about broken cases - mine arrived okIf you get this jack be sure to follow the instructions before you use it the first time. You need to pump the jack six times with the valve released to distribute fluid evenly through internal components. The video with the jack's description has a quick walkthrough of this procedure. It takes less than a minute.

It works!
It works very well. I checked for extra air like the video on here suggested and mines did not lose any air. It lifted with great ease my car. I have bought and returned larger double spring jacks that would not lift my car. Does not take up much space in the garage like a larger floor jack would. I also like that it is very light and can be moved exactly where I want it under the car. Box was taped as if it were returned which I did not like but I opened it and could not tell that it had been used or not. I decided to not send it back and keep it. Not taking off points for the retaped box. 15.5 is a good height, enough for tire change or oil change and I intend on inserting back up "jack stands". The only drawback is when bringing the car down, there is causes a quick drop for the car, but I suppose if it is slowly, slowly. slowly done it would be better. definitely not much quicker down then the 150-to-500-dollar ones so may be a hydraulic thing and just figuring it out.

Good for lifting 44" deck lawn tractor
I needed to remove the wheel of my lawn tractor, but the jacks I had for my two cars were too tall. This low-profile trolley jack was the answer. (I needed one that was no more than 7" tall.) I picked it up for less than forty shipped in the open box offerings. It arrived fully assembled in two pieces; a jack and a short jack handle, with a small manual. The manual is not great, but this isn't a complicated device. The most difficult part of the operation of this jack is figuring out how to prime the hydraulics and how to release the jack slowly to lower it. It's difficult to slowly release and lower the jack, but maybe that's just my lack of experience with it?This jack is a good choice for infrequent, light-duty lifts, but may not be the best choice for those who plan on using it on a frequent basis for 1000 pounds or more. It just doesn't seem that sturdy for the long haul.

A good, solid jack for carrying in car trunk.
I was driving to the supermarket when the car starting driving lower on the right. I knew something was wrong so I pulled over guessing I had a flat tire. I parked safely in front of homes and sure enough I saw the right front tire was flat. I thought no problem and that I would simply change the tire. I opened the trunk and found to my dismay that I had no jack in the trunk. I usually carry a 2 ton Pro LIft trolley jack in the trunk of my three cars. I then remembered that the trolley jack that was in this Ford car rusted due to rain getting into the trunk. I had two options: I could call a taxi and go home and bring a jack back to my car or I could call Triple A. I decided to call Triple A and after getting a live person I gave my membership info, car details, and location. A tow truck arrived in about 40 minutes and I was on my way home, too late to go to the supermarket.I immediately started looking for a floor jack with case that I could carry in the trunk of this car. I ordered a Pro Lift but found that it couldn't lift my Chevy car high enough to remove a rear tire. I searched again for a jack with case and saw the Performance Tools trolley jack with case. I ordered it and received it within a week.I placed the jack under the Chevy and it lifts this car high enough and then some to remove a tire. I like everything about this jack including the color of the jack itself and the sturdy plastic case. The jack weighs 27 pounds including the case.If you're looking for a jack for the car trunk to change tires out on the road, this one should fit the bill.

Well built
It lifted my SUV, smoothly and effective. Seems to be well-built. I wish it came in the case. For a small jack, it is worth the purchase.

Worked so well, it got stolen
This worked really well and I used it a lot. I did not know that I was meant to use this with jack stands, so I would crawl under the car with just this holding the car up. I'm still alive, so, I guess it was designed well :-DThe jack got stolen though by someone who clearly appreciated how well it worked. -_-

Very convenient tool.
Great, quality made convenient tool for automotive enthusiast! I have used it already when changing tires and oil and found quality and convenience on the level. What I would suggest to consumers is never rely on a jack, and always use hard stands when you work underneath your vehicle. A jack can leak, change position, move or else.Only use jack for lifting, never as actual prop.Safety first!

It's great for the value paid for
Generally, like the product for specified use. It's good to keep in your vehicle particularly if your travelling constantly at unknown / remote place to mitigate emergency. I have not used it so far but looks great and easy on operation.

Does it even lift 15 inches?
Its useless. Doesn't lift high enough for me to get the stands under. It stops lifting an inch short of the 15.5inches... which is just enough to make it useless for most applications. Two years since, its rusting; it was stored indoors.

Good product
The product is good and worked very well from the first time, plastic handle to carry it came in broken already. but the main product is easy to use and it was really faster than the original jack that comes with the car.
