3 for 1
Comes on 3 different sizes. Very helpful when planting time is upon us. No more buying hundreds of peat pots. It's gonna be fun.

Great buy!
Awesome! Wish I purchased this earlier in the growing season!! Awesome way to repurpose newspaper & save money by not buying starter pots/pods/etc.

As expected - little spendy.
I just received this in the mail today. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I will update, if I can, when I do.I have some concerns. It seems as though the size of each “section”(?) May be a little too large and could cause issue? But, again, haven’t used it yet.The wood doesn’t seem to be as smooth as I had imagined, but, I don’t think it will affect the product’s purpose.Lastly, I don’t think bubble mailers are the best choice for shipping this package. I realize the ultimate contents are wood, but the box surely got some damage.Product is a little spendy, in my opinion, for what it is.

Makes pots ok, but is too expensive for what it is, and could be improved
I bought this product against my better judgement because I liked that you could make three different sizes of pots with it. The competing products weren't a lot cheaper, and they only made one size of pot, so this seemed like the better product in the long term.It does do a good job making pots, but it's sort of frustrating to use. The smallest wooden form is very difficult to get out of the paper pot once it's been smashed, unless you're careful to roll the paper a little bit loosely. I agree with whoever said that it should have some sort of handle on top of the smallest form, because that would make it a lot easier both to remove the smallest size pots and to smash the larger-sized ones. The medium and large pots aren't as hard to remove after being smashed because you can use your fingers to hold the inside of the wooden form while you pull the paper pot off the outside. However, the medium and large pots are annoying to make because you have to stack all the little pieces of wooden form to smash the bottoms of the pots, and they all sort of wobble around and don't stick up far enough to really get a grip on them to give everything a good smash-and-twist. I kept wishing each of the wooden pieces was a little longer (it didn't help that I kept cutting my strips of paper too wide), but it does seem like the pots finished to the dimensions of the wooden forms are the most stable; if you make them too tall, they tip over too easily. Maybe longer wooden pieces with a line marking where the top of the paper should fall would be the best of both worlds?Burgon & Ball appears to be a high-end garden supply company with thoughtfully-designed tools, so this sort of feels like it misses that mark. The price feels more appropriate for something handmade and purchased at a craft fair than for something that's seemingly mass-produced, but I assume that the price here reflects shipping from England, so maybe that's why it feels a little spendier than necessary.Bottom line: knowing what I know now, yes, I would buy this again. And yes, I would be conflicted about the price again.

Looks good so far
Looks good so far. But did not come in the sturdy cardboard drum. Was looking forward to that for storage purposes.

Well made, works well
Excellent. Choice of sizes is very convenient- and they stack together beautifully for storage.

Perfekt. Besser geht es nicht. Einfach super.
Einfach, praktisch, gut.

Lovely item as gift and easy to make loads of pots fast
I like mine so much I sent one as a gift - 3 sizes included, like nesting dolls, the littlest one is great for sowing tiny seeds like tomatoes or lettuces separately so you don't have to prick them out. I make pots using Amazon brown paper and newspaper - super fast (a couple of hundred per evening).Comes in a sturdy box that I put the pot makers back in after use.Makes a lovely gift.

Pros and cons but for me now I won’t go back to anything else
I’ll start with the cons, it’s time consuming to cut and roll the pots, and that is the only issue.Pros, I can make as many pots as I need, I can make 3 sizes pots and when I need them, space saving item since I only need to store paper, I can easily see if my seedlings need water, if the paper start to dry out, add water! So for me there’s no way back to what I used before.
