Beetle & the Chimera Carnival (The Beetle Books) Paperback – April 29, 2025

This was my most anticipated book yet and I was not disappointed. The story was confusing at first but after doing a reread it made more sense. This book had me in a chokehold overanalyzing every character one by one. Although I love the illustrations, it can sometimes be misleading and unclear to what's going on, which is what caught me off guard in my first read. I also heard a third book was in the making and I can't wait to see it ^^

This is a second volume of Beetle & Hollowbones series which seemed somewhat confusing to me. Too much was happening while the parents of both main characters were sent away for specific reasons leaving them to deal with whatever bad stuff was happening without support. Artwork is in the same style as the first book, making it a pleasure to read.
