This is the perfect Corn Knife! A serious working implement from the same company that makes Condor knives.
This is a serious implement for traditional farming or gardening, not a display piece or fantasy item. As it is, the blade is ground perfectly for cutting corn stalks or weeds. I would suggest sanding the robust, blonde colored hardwood handle and applying mineral oil after it is smoothed to your satisfaction. As far as the blade, I have always wiped down my carbon steel gardening implements with WD40 after use and especially at the end of the season. Mineral oil works just as well on carbon steel as on wooden handles and is the non-toxic and food safe alternative.
