Kingston NV3 NVMe PCIe 4.0 Internal SSD 1TB M.2 2280-SNV3S/1000G

The Kingston NV3 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD delivers impressive read and write speeds for a smooth computing experience. Boot times are faster, game load times are noticeably reduced, and file transfers feel almost instant. Installation was simple—M.2 slot fit perfectly—and the drive is recognized immediately by my system. It runs cool and stable even under heavy workloads, making it perfect for both gaming and productivity setups. Pros: Fast PCIe 4.0 performance; reliable and durable; easy installation; 1TB capacity is ideal for games and files. Cons: Speeds aren’t the absolute fastest of PCIe 4.0 SSDs, but excellent for the price. Overall, a solid, high-performance SSD that’s perfect for upgrading storage without breaking the bank.

Had this m.2 for over a year and provides good performance was worth the price!

Got this to run Linux on what is a windows laptop. Definitely faster than the OEM one. Plenty of instructions on YouTube on fitting otherwise little effort on my side. Only had a month and no glitches so far

Overall great, the speeds are good and installation was easy, it fits perfectly. No issues with overheating even though it’s behind my 3090ti. Storage capacity as described. Had to take 1 star away for the lack of screw.

Is running perfectly 👌

I bought this and a Fanxlang M.2 NMVe enclosure to house it in: https://amzn.eu/d/eWTd0bh It has been really reliable so far for expanding the storage of my Macbook. It does get quite hot when transferring or streaming files to or from the drive, but in a good enclosure, it dissipates it well. Performance has been stable and reliable so far. I haven't measured them, but the transfer speeds have been great too. Silent operation. Connects quickly, and reconnects on sleep/wake. It's a tiny drive. Impressive how much storage we can fit in such a small device these days!

Add another NV3 to the litany of didn't-last-18-months. Was installed new in a computer in April 2025. Spin forward to September 2026 and the drive is not showing up in the bios. Tried a second NVME slot on the motherboard, still no sign of it. I might as well have installed the cardboard box the drive came in. Tried the drive in two different USB NVME enclosures - the enclosure shows up in System properties, the drive doesn't. Contacted Kingston's RMA process and they requested photos of top and bottom which I provided. They then denied the warranty because "they could see in the photo that the label had been tampered with". Firstly, despite their claims, legally, a warranty cannot be refused. Secondly, the signs of tampering was a less than 1mm tear where, when I was removing the thermal pad that had transferred from the motherboard NVME heatsink to the drive, I must have caught it. After some back-and-forth with their RMA department, they did eventually send me a replacement drive. Now, would I trust any important data on a drive that seems so prone to failure? Not likely! Am I ever likely to buy Kingston again? My answer is the same, not likely. Warranty claims shouldn't be a battle.

So good for low end pc

funcionando e operante

All'atto pratico: Boot di Windows 11: praticamente istantaneo.

I recently installed the Kingston 1TB M.2 SSD (NV2) in my laptop (acer aspire), and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. Right from the start, I noticed how much faster my system boots up and loads programs. The read and write speeds are impressive for the price—my files transfer quickly, and even larger applications open without any lag. While it’s a budget-friendly SSD, I’ve found it to be reliable and more than fast enough for everyday use, gaming, and even some light content creation. The three-year warranty adds peace of mind as well. If you’re looking for a solid, affordable storage upgrade that delivers real-world speed and plenty of space, I’d definitely recommend the Kingston NV2 1TB M.2 SSD.
