First good will be nice in chilly weather

Husband got these for Christmas and loves them! He got 1 in every color! He likes the lining and the size of the pockets. They wash well also!

The vest came packaged nicely in a large plastic cover that now doubles up as a dust shield. The first impression was that this is too casual a wear, given the quality, look and feel of the outside fabric. The inside is coarse fleece (think of the carpet in your house). There are two side pockets and an inner pocket secured with Velcro. A point of annoyance was the zip that kept getting caught in the closely spaced fabric, and was not smooth to operate zipping up or down - this will eventually fray the fabric lining the zip. It is heavy to wear and will help on cold days paired with jeans. The medium size ran a bit big for my 160lb frame. I removed one star for the coarse fleece and zip.

The first vest I received had issues with the zipper. I ordered a replacement and had the exact same problems with the second vest. I like the vest and the liner, but can't possibly keep it with zipper issues from the start. Both get stuck around the same spot. Disappointing.

I really like having a vest that can handle some rougher use without spilling down or fiber fill. This vest has kept me warm on several dog walks in 30-40F weather with just two long sleeved base layers beneath the vest. The pockets are comfortable and cut so you don't have to worry that stuff will fall out. The zipper is heavy duty and easy to connect and disconnect with a nice large pull tab. The collar is just right and closes up nicely at the top when you zip up completely.The overall fit is rather long for the sizing (Medium for me at 6 feet and 160 pounds - a Large would have been too large for sure).I have a similar jacket from Dickies and really like how well this fabric wears over time. There's a warning label about not to use this garment when you work with welding equipment - I assume that means it is flammable. Well, I rarely ever weld anything, and if I do, I will remember not to wear this vest. Not a problem for me. I bought it to walk my dog on cooler days. For that it is absolutely perfect!

Haven’t worn a vest in a long time, but I really like this one. It’s comfortable and keeps you warm, but allows you freedom to move around. So far I’ve worn it while changing a valve cover gasket, doing yard work, chopping wood, and lifting weights in the garage. It’s awesome- highly recommend it.

I have to say, I love this. It has a thick fleece liner. The canvas material is durably thick. The zipper is a stout metal zipper that opens and closes with ease and will hold up nicely. There is a pocket on the inside (closeable) and two on the outside. The pocket openings and larger, which is nice if you're wearing gloves. The fit is comfortable. I wear it all day if the temps are above freezing. Would definitely recommend it.
