Already these have served me better and at a fraction of the price
I bought these after having to send 2 pairs of North Face Hedgehog gore tex low rise hiking boots back due to the failure of the rubber seam. I’ve had Karrimor in the past and thought the North Face would be an upgrade. Absolutely not true. Already these have served me better and at a fraction of the price. I do a lot of walking although nothing too arduous and these seem great and excellent value. Being available in half sizes is a bonus since I always fall between 8 and 9 and the 8.5 are perfect. Dry weather shoes for pointy toes with feet of leather
Ok so I’m not thrilled by these but I’m sure they’re great for lots of people, especially as they’re only 40 quid.Good:Reasonably well made and soles are hard-wearing.Cheap (ish)Naff:Not wide fitting around toes, so don’t even allow for feet to swell in hot weather.Nasty foam insoles with poor arch support which need to be replaced by gel ones.Interior space limits choice of replacement insoles. With thin insoles I could feel contours of the platform, so comfort was short walks only.Definitely NOT waterproof, or even shower resistant.Still, I only bought them for dog-walking on river paths, so they’ll do for this, but I’d be disappointed if I thought they would be all-year-round goodies. I’ve had the same problems with other shoes costing twice as much, so I’m not too cheesed off.

karimor supa 5
have got these to put away for spare but have tried them on & they are as expected a nice fit, these have the good gum rubber sole that slips on almost nothing which is what I try to look out for, for the past few years I've had several pairs of Karrimor Traveller Supa, Men’s Walking Shoe but are now unavailable & have gone for these as replacement as they look very similar style being probably the updated ones & I've never had any problems with karimor, always fitted well & been good shoes & as expected these fit good as I thought they would being similar & same make, if anything I'd say these are an even slightly nicer fit & as they feel slightly easier on the width on first try than the ones I've been using feel as if don't need to wedge my foot in as much on the first use for all the others were good fit & very soon settled to being easier fit, I'm just hopefull I will get as much good use out of these as have others I've had, I'm pretty confident I will as karimor seem to be good from my past experiences

Just so comfortable
I have a pair of Supa 4, so when the Supa 5 come out, I knew I had to have a pair too, well two pairs. Just so comfortable and hard wearing, Well I find that.

Come out small
Size 8 shoes came up a bit small, more like 7.5. The size 8.5 may be more similar to a standard 8 but are twice as expensive.

Practical daily footwear
I took a bit of a chance and went for the size 10.5 but was very glad that I did. The shoes are well shaped and therefore gave a far better fit than I had hoped for. I would happily recommend these shoes as comfortable, easy use, practical daily footwear.
