AC Infinity TESLACORE A1, Rackmount PDU with Surge Protector, 15A Circuit Breaker, 8 Rear Outlets, 15ft Power Cord, for AV Equipment

My AV equipment is fancy. My $600 FURMAN ELITE 15i power conditioner just shut down last week losing 4 of the 6 power outlets. FURMAN customer service was of no help and I'm amazed they don't feel like hell for making a $600 power strip that breaks down from basic home use? They offered me a 15% discount to buy a new one as a $2 (switched) chip shorted and they don't offer repair... they asked me to trash my current unit, and buy a new one(?) I considered it but it all felt so wrong and was not about to spend another $510 on FURMAN. This TESLACORE A1 unit for $70 looks and feels amazing. Heavy, beautifully finished psteel plate, with a thick heavy 15 FT cable, and not 5 but 8 outlets. Its quite impressive! Recommended. But lets see how long this will last.

Functional, but uniquely within this class of devices blends in with other expensive equipment. I.e., subtle logo, beautifully brushed aluminum finish in anodized black, discrete small LEDs.Only complaint is that the line switch is reversed down-on/up-off. This is common for Europe, but very non-intuitive here. This was adopted overseas at the turn-of-century in that railroad signal flags were down-true. Neat history, however for North America up has always been true and conflicts everything else in the rack.Not worth a subtraction and will buy again. 5 Stars.

One of the nicer pdu's I have found. Nicely finished, matched my whole house amp and controller. Wish others would pay as close attention to appearance. Perfect for my 20U rack. Only improvements I could recommend would be the addition of another outlet or two and possibly a tasteful voltage display. So far no complaints. I recommend this device for smaller home A/V or network racks.

Solid rack based power strip and made well! This is perfect and well made for the right applications. It can also be hung to the wall or under mount if you don’t have a rack or do but don’t want to “rack mount” it. I do have a rack mount it, and it works perfectly for me! I will definitely buy this product again in the future. Look no further if you need well made PDU for your rack.

Fantastic Product! I’m running three servers in individual racks which have individual battery backups. The AC INFINITY TESLACORE supplies power to the three battery backups, the primary monitor and my cooling system in a 42U rack. It hasn’t faulted once.Build quality is excellent and well worth the price. I highly recommend this product if you require a rack mount PDU. It is a true 1U and will fit too any rack designed with U mounting.

Needed a surge protector for my wall mounted network and this fit the bill. It is a no thrills rack mount as far as surge protectors go, but they took the time to make it presentable with the really good looking front face plate and give indicators if the unit is working properly. It’s these little details that make it more than worth the price and a happy addition to my rack!

I purchased several of the AC Infinity line Rack Drawers and love the quality and design and this unit was an addition to the set. As a designer myself for over 30 years, I appreciate the quality and details. The packaging was great, the finish is high end and the unit does what it should very well. Recommended.

Great PDU. Very well made, and I love the finish. Comes with a 15 ft power cord which I will probably make a shorter one as I'm using this for all my networking equipment run off of a UPS lower in therack. I've purchased a few AC Infinity products, and will definitely be buying more.
