Wenger Men's 01.1051.103 Escort

I was a bit worried the face of the watch would be too big given the photos and videos I've been seeing everywhere but they do not do this watch justice in terms of size portrayal. When this watch arrived and I opened the metal packaging my face lit up with glee, its not too big and its not too small. The size of the face and size/thickness of the housing is perfect.What is interesting about the Wenger Escort models is that they look premium without grabbing too much attention. Think of them like a sleeper build car, unassuming but very capable. I like that look which is why I went for one of these models. As for the colour I went for this one in particular because from what I've seen online its a colour that either doesn't sell as much or its hard to get a hold of. I saw Amazon(of all places) with it for a price nowhere else could beat so I took advantage of that.EDIT: 5/02/2018 Ok so theres something very weird with the leather of this watch, when it came under slight moisture due to rain drizzling while I was out with it, the top watch band area has a slightly different shade of brown to the bottom part. I thought nothing of it but even after it dried and after cleaning it the problem persists. I cant seem to find a way to get both straps back to the same shade of brown they were or at LEAST get both of them to match up in shade. Anyone have any suggestions? Please? I cannot wear this watch to go now now as the shades of brown are different for each strap. How can i rectify this?EDIT: 17/01/2019So I was able to send my watch in to a wenger authorised dealer and have the watch bands replaced free of charge. What the dealer explained to me was that the previous pair of bands were "treated" differently and weren't actually a legitimate pair, as in they weren't cut from the same piece of leather.The replacement bands I got free of charge have gotten wet many times now and have dried with both keeping their same shade of dark brown to date. This watch is my daily beater so I took it a step further and used some Moneysworth suede spray brown, which is the exact shade of brown the watch bands are, and I'd spray the band like once every fortnite to keep the colour and to make the suede water and scuff resistant. I like this watch and I like the service I got from the brand which means they stand behind their products even after they've been discontinued for a long time. They're quality at a reasonable price.

I have small to medium sized wrists. Thought that this watch may be too big on my wrist. It is large but, looks great. Makes a statement. Very stylish and masculine. Please note that the watch has a gray/black look. More gray than black. Looks black in picture.

A typically great watch from Wenger!! This watch is comfortable, accurate and great to look at! I have watches all over the price spectrum and this one definitely gets its share of wrist time. It also helps that my wife loves how it looks, so I have to say that the pictures really don't do it justice.Bottom line:. If you want a watch that is incredibly reliable, reasonably priced AND great to look at.... this is definitely at the top of the list for you to consider!

Good looking swiss watch for fifty bucks. Great deal, I'll probably get another one in a different color.

I liked this watch. It looked good and was easy to read. However, it quit with in two weeks from the time I received it. I have not replaced the battery yet to see if it will start up again. Will try that to see if it will, but should not have to on a new watch.

Im pretty disappointed. The band length is short for a mens watch. Im using the second to last hole and my wrist size is only slightly above average. I purchased the blue model but the numbers look like blurple/pastel purple.

It fits perfectly on my wrist, and goes with casual as well as formal dress too. I use it as everyday watch. No complaints so far.

Looks very nice. Perfect for lifestyle. Only suggest a lighted dial.

Really liked this watch I saw it on Amazon.The price was unbelievably low at around a third of the full RRP.The styling is clean, modern and highly appealing.Size wise it is suitable for those who don't like very big watches.The case is gunmetal IP plated and we'll built and finished.There is an etched stainless steel screw on back depicting a Wenger genuine Swiss army knife.With a sapphire coated crystal glass and Ronda 515 quartz movement you are getting a lot of watch for your money.Oh, and the genuine black leather strap with blue stitching is good quality and really goes well with the gunmetal and black dial and the blue hands and numerals.Lovely watch.

This is a great looking watch. The quality of the case and the leather strap are first class, as you'd expect at this price point. I've only had the watch a few days but it appears to be keeping perfect time, certainly good enough for everyday use. It's not the easiest watch for telling the time in very poor light, but I'm not having any real problems with that.If this is important to you, think about getting a watch with a lighter face or one that you can illuminate.Interestingly, my watch arrived already going. Other watches I have had usually have a piece of plastic you have to remove to activate the battery. I wonder if it's 'brand new' as the case wasn't sealed either. Having said that, there's no indication on the watch or strap that it's ever been worn.In summary, if you like the looks, it's a great buy.
