Sturdy, well built. Excellent replacement for the cheap baskets that come with your pool. Size exactly as described. The plastic basket is thick. The handles are metal with a rubber cover. They are easy to lift out of the skimmer. Fits better than the originals. Less debris in my pool pump basket. Excellent buy.

Now look, you're reading reviews of pool skimmer baskets because the one you have is either broken or it sucks. I've been there. I had an old plastic one that broke, and then replaced it with an aluminum one that sucks. This basket should last me at least a decade. It's very thick and substantial, and incredible easy to clean because the material is so smooth. I also appreciate how it doesn't float die to its weight when I turn the skimmer off. Don't even look at other ones. Just buy this one. You'll be glad you did.

Sturdy, fits well, buy it. I have two skimmers, I bought one of these because one of my original baskets cracked. I liked this new basket so I went ahead and bought another to replace my other one. If you use socks, they fit well.

Build Quality & Survival Right out of the box, you can tell this isn't that flimsy, brittle plastic garbage that turns to dust under UV light. The walls are thick, rigid, and have zero flex to them. The mesh pattern is perfectly spaced—it breathes enough to maintain stellar water flow so my pump isn't straining, but it's tight enough to trap every stray piece of pollen, bugs, and oak leaves trying to ruin my pool day. The Standout Feature The weighted bottom and the heavy-duty handle are absolute lifesavers. My old basket used to float up and dump its payload back into the pool whenever the pump cycled off. This one stays glued to the bottom of the skimmer well. Plus, when it's time to clean it out, the metal-reinforced handle actually stands up straight so I don’t have to dive my hand into a wet soup of dead bugs just to grab it. The thickness and strength of the plastic is immediately noticeable when you open the package. The weight is solid and keeps the basket in place. I was able to use my existing basket socks. They are snug and it takes a tad more effort than on a cheaper basket with a single ring at the top. The dimensions are as advertised so fitment in the skimmer was as expected. I think this is a winner and beats the cheaper alternatives I purchased on here in the past.

This filter basket is much sturdier than our two previous ones that broke. The plastic is thicker but it fits just as well as the alternatives. The handle makes pulling it out of the pool very easy.
