Swimables 8" Pool Skimmer Basket for Inground Pools - Compatible with Pentair U-3 Skimmer Basket 08650-0007 & Hayward SP1070, SPX1070E Pool Basket with Built-in Brass Weight, Handle & Rubber Grip

Sturdy, well built. Excellent replacement for the cheap baskets that come with your pool. Size exactly as described. The plastic basket is thick. The handles are metal with a rubber cover. They are easy to lift out of the skimmer. Fits better than the originals. Less debris in my pool pump basket. Excellent buy.

Now look, you're reading reviews of pool skimmer baskets because the one you have is either broken or it sucks. I've been there. I had an old plastic one that broke, and then replaced it with an aluminum one that sucks. This basket should last me at least a decade. It's very thick and substantial, and incredible easy to clean because the material is so smooth. I also appreciate how it doesn't float die to its weight when I turn the skimmer off. Don't even look at other ones. Just buy this one. You'll be glad you did.

This pool skimmer basket is top notch great quality heavy duty not like the other one I had that just breaks when you touch it the handle is heavy duty I would not hesitate buying this again if I ever need another one I would highly recommend if you're looking for a good pull skimmer basket with a handle fits my opening perfect

Build Quality & Survival Right out of the box, you can tell this isn't that flimsy, brittle plastic garbage that turns to dust under UV light. The walls are thick, rigid, and have zero flex to them. The mesh pattern is perfectly spaced—it breathes enough to maintain stellar water flow so my pump isn't straining, but it's tight enough to trap every stray piece of pollen, bugs, and oak leaves trying to ruin my pool day. The Standout Feature The weighted bottom and the heavy-duty handle are absolute lifesavers. My old basket used to float up and dump its payload back into the pool whenever the pump cycled off. This one stays glued to the bottom of the skimmer well. Plus, when it's time to clean it out, the metal-reinforced handle actually stands up straight so I don’t have to dive my hand into a wet soup of dead bugs just to grab it. The Verdict Stop buying the cheap $8 replacements every summer. This thing is built like a tank, does its job flawlessly, and saves your expensive pump from getting choked out by yard debris. Buy it once, do it right, and get back to actually enjoying your pool.

Sturdy, fits well, buy it. I have two skimmers, I bought one of these because one of my original baskets cracked. I liked this new basket so I went ahead and bought another to replace my other one. If you use socks, they fit well.

Made of sturdy plastic & it’s weighted!!! Also has a metal handle, so it stays in!! Love it!! 5 stars

Thicker plastic than the pool skimmer baskets that I had before. I bought one of these baskets last year and it still looks durable and intact. It fits perfectly and is easy to pull out with the handle.

I love the weighted basket. Very sturdy should last a while. No floating so leaves don’t get in the skimmer lines.
