This Simple Inexpensive Switch Does the Job Flawlessly
When we lose our cable Internet service our "smart home" features immediately become stupid which is inconvenient for my wife and me. Recently I contracted for a wireless Internet backup service. Without this switch, changing our router's connection to the backup service involved the inconvenience of changing Ethernet cable connections. This switch does the same job with a simple click. Now we can quickly change to our backup Internet service without unplugging and changing Ethernet cable connections. That enables my wife or me to get everything on our LAN back in operation in a couple of minutes with minimal hassle.

Works Well
It has the look and feel of quality, the RJ45 sockets are snug and secure, and the switch is positive latching... no accidental turning on or off. I recommend it.

Switch works well
It works very well and it was easy to instruct my wife on how to use it. The price was acceptable and shipping was timely.

Also very useful as PoE security camera on/off switch
We have a couple of these we use with our home NVR/PoE security system. We have some cameras that we don't want on all of the time. This Ethernet (RJ-45) A-B switch is a perfect, well-made, well-designed, and cost-effective, solution. Those other Ethernet inline on/off switches only turn off the data pin, not the PoE power. That is NOT what we require. Using only one of the two lines of the A-B switch works perfectly as an on/off switch (all connections for each Ethernet cable). The device appears very well built especially for the price. Aside: For initial reviews of products, we never give 5-stars. Durability, longevity, etc., cannot be evaluated until well beyond any warranty or expected device "lifespan."

Great for switching between two networks
I WFH and have a Cisco Meraki that acts as a VPN straight to my employer's network. I use my gaming PC for work as well, but the VPN throughput is less than my 1GB fiber, so I needed an option to easily switch between my work and home networks and this works perfectly. I plugged the output into my NIC, and the two inputs into the Meraki and my home network equipment so I can easily switch between the two networks. The sliding switch has a firm 'snap' when switching between the two, and it doesn't introduce any added latency that I can tell. I can confirm I still get gigabit speeds when performing speed tests through my home network.

Sturdy and works great.
Sturdy and works great. I use it to connect to one of two different POE units while testing. Purchased two of them.

Working well with no issues.
I use this to switch my DC to DC charger's bluetooth controller on and off when I need to use it, I now use it to switch internet connection between two pc's. Simple, small footprint. I would recommend this product.

Works As Advertised
I use this switch to cut my internet at night and reduce the amount of suspicious things Windows 11 gets away with. It works well for that purpose if you leave 1 port empty. The switch itself has a very short throw and feels a little munchy, so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time. But for now, it works great!
