Great part saved me big bucks avoiding a repair soaking
This little part is wonderful. After spending $400 for a repair that didn't last a month, I was not happy. That was when I decided to NEVER pay a sleazy "professional" for a refrigerator repair job ever again. I bought this and a a few other parts. I switched the parts out, and this, the final one, brought my refrigerator back to life. Happy. That was more than a year 1/2 ago. My1999 Whirlpool (Kenmore) side-by-side is humming along like new. I learned my lesson and I am grateful.

Good Part
This same part goes for much more all over the internet. This may be a knock off, but it works as well as the original and saved me a lot of money.

Price was good will see about quality
I liked the price the only thing I disliked is there was no instruction to tell you what terminal to attach the black wire to.Had to do a lot of searching online to find the information.

Saved a repair bill!
Easy to install and working great. My old defrost timer on my Whirlpool side by side did not have a ground wire. I attached the ground on the new one to position 1. Working great. $10, can’t beat it.

Be sure you get installation instructions.
I returned this part because it had no instructions with it. This part has a wire connection that my original part did not have. Without any instructions I gave up and sent it back.

DEFECTIVE
The motor is open circuit- it doesn't work at all. I didn't know it was defective until today, when my refrigerator was completely frozen up, but "the return window closed Sep 20, 2019", so I've been cheated, and I can't do anything about it but buy another from another vendor, and not through Amazon.

It works perfect!
Easy to install. The holes for the screws were a bit too large, so not a tight fit.

Just what the appliance doctor ordered
This replacement part fixed the problem that was causing the refrigerator temp not to cool down properly. By replacing the defective part with this new one it saved us from the hassle and expense of having to replace the current refrigerator. I am so glad we tried it first!
