Canvas messenger bag...
... I was dubious that this would last. But is is holding up well. Quite faded to grey now compared to the delivery colour but all the zips work and have not lost their tags. The nylon liner to the computer compartment is surviving and the shoulder strap is unfrayed.I use this bag every day and it has got wet, hot, frozen and dragged about but it seems to be surviving. The only downside is the shoulder strap slips its adjustment as it has grown slightly greasy from regular use. What little velcro there is looks to be lasting well but I rarely open or close the fastening. The velcro sits over the mobile phone holder, showing the age of the bag as the holder would suite the early Nokia Feature phones not the modern smart variety there are two spaces for small 'devices' in the main body my Nokia 7.1 and case fits in one the personal Nokia 5.1 and impact case slips and fits perfectly in the other space.Overall I am pleased with the bag and it looks to be lasting well there are plenty of similar designs on the market so as a generic this looks as well made as the others. In then end it is about price and this one was around mid-way through the listings, so a reasonable return for money invested.

Well made smaller size messenger bag ...
This is a really excellent smaller size messenger bag. What I was looking for was a bag with similar volume to a lady's handbag - without looking like a lady's handbag. And this is it. I'm using it to carry my iPad, iPhone, two pairs of spectacles and Fujifilm X100 camera plus other odds and sods.Other reviewers have remarked on how well made this bag is and I agree. It's surprisingly well constructed with neat stitching. The bag has a good number of nicely designed interior pockets for credit cards, pens, wallet, cellphone and suchlike. Three of these interior pockets are zipped. What's more, the bag is constructed throughout from heavy duty canvas. However, I doubt the exterior is more than showerproof at best, so I have sprayed it all over with Woly 3x3 waterproofing spray. That should do the trick.Although the bag I bought is described as 'black', I think a better description is 'dark grey' or 'graphite'. The bag is only a centimetre or two larger in height and width dimensions than a sheet of A4. Be aware that an A4 Cambridge type exercise pad will only just fit. Perfect for my needs though, as I already have a 'standard' size messenger bag (a Pacsafe Intasafe Z400).A minor gripe is that while both sides of the interior of the main pocket are padded, the base of the main pocket is not. My thoughts are that if you were to drop the bag from some height, any fragile contents such as a camera could be damaged. I'm going to resolve this issue by fitting a piece of 6mm neoprene foam rubber to the base of the interior. A bit of Evostik should secure it. GSTEK please note: fit some padding to the base of this bag and it'll be near perfect.

Good-sized bag, plenty of pockets
I had this for Christmas to replace a very well worn bag that had reached the end of its life. This one is really well made from a strong cloth material. The zips and seams seem to be well done and I don't have any doubt as to it's strength. The webbing strap is adjustable for length and fixed with metal rings into more webbing that seems very strongly sewn into the ends of the bag.The main compartment has plenty of room. No problem at all for an iPad including case, including I think the current largest iPad Pro - I'm basing that on the fact that I can get my 13" MacBook Pro in (just) and still zip it up. So 11" MacBook Air or the current range of MacBooks no problem at all either. The front compartment has a key ring inside, along with a couple of pen pockets, five other pockets and an additional mesh pocket. The rear compartment has two more pen pockets, six pockets that will take a credit card lengthways, two more deep pockets and an additional separate zipped compartment. In other words, this is a bag with plenty of room for most of what you need with you. Given its overall size and pockets, if this won't do for you then you are looking at a full-size messenger bag.So overall a well-made and satisfying bag that seems unlikely to give any cause for concern. If it does I'll let post something here!

Well built and long lasting
There are several brands selling the same bag. I've been using one as a camera bag for the last 8 years and it has lasted brilliantly. After all this time, the zip started to get stuck and i've started to wear a hole where it rubs on my hip.The bag has been literally everywhere with me for the last 8 years, i never leave the house without it. With the occaisional spritz of waterproofer, it has kept my equipment safe in wind, rain, and snow. I've hiked for days, been cycling, camping, kayaking, climbed mountains... This £15-20 bag put up with all that for 8 years.Of course, i've replaced it like for like. Here's to another 8 years!

Bag
Nice bag. But more charcoal grey then black. Not sure if it’s waterproof yet though

I should have got one sooner
I love organiser, cross body bags and have been looking for ages for daily use. I was searching for leather bags, as it never occurred to me to try a canvas messenger bag. What took me so long? It is much lighter than a traditional handbag; and I am loving the abundance of pockets. I miss having a grab handle, but that is my only gripe. And it is not a fault with the bag, just a personal preference. Plus my leather handbags will last longer with less wear and tear.
